Trivia
This was not his first murder. David Lee Herman told me that while attending New Mexico Military Institute and attending a party his first murder took place. They had put lots of dry ice in the pool which takes away the oxygen on the waters surface. He had been in a fight earlier that day and when he saw his chance, he pushed the guy into the deep end of the pool knowing he would not be able to breath. The boy died and it was ruled an accident, but I was told the truth in confidence.
