I have no idea how stressful it must be for people who're waiting for their film to release, I don't know if people got paid for their work more than decade ago, but I'm happy that the film finally got a release and happier that it was a success.

This film....doesn't take itself seriously and you're in the wrong if you watch it any other way. It's a pointless movie and if you go in with that expectation, you're surprisingly not gonna be bored. The good parts are entertaining, the bad parts are so bad that they're so good. The biggest selling point of the film - It was not boring. It was so much better than Indian 2. So much better than Game Changer.

I've never been a fan of Santhanam's comedy, so I don't know why hype now, I don't get the "Come back to comedy Santa!" Mokka comedy pannitu laughter riot nu sonna.....to each their own. There's a fight in the film which, minus the heroism, almost makes you want to consider how good a serious hand-to-hand combat sequence with Vishal could be....

The comedy, the plot, the songs, everything about this film is at least 20 years too late. It would have been a 10-yr late film had it released on time in 2012. This delay worked out in its favor and I guess the nostalgia sold it to the crowds. It's a bad film, but it was not boring 😐

When I saw this film in the theater, I really liked all the comedy lines in it. Most importantly, Santhanam's comedy has worked very well in the film. Manobaala's comedy performance, which was talked about by everyone, was excellent.

This movie is family-friendly but at the same time it contains some Glamour. But they bloom in the film and won't make you frown in any way.

If you want to watch a movie with your family without thinking too much about anything, this is a good movie for that.

Since the film's screenplay was written 12 years ago, we can't really apply it to much today. But you don't realize that's a big flaw.

MGR is a 2013 film which was released in 2025 it is a actually comedy film santa and vishal combo makes fun . Manobala character fun guaranteed.

Movie released after 12 years. I had a huge expectation. But Sundar C was not called up for any interviews and movie promotions. Sad.

What's even more sad is this movie is a poor poor copy of grown ups (2010). The first half of the movie is simply copied with bad scenes. Instead of basketball it's relay race where hero team wins by a mistake. Friends reunion, their family coming for an event, kids loving to stay, relay race again where hero gives up and corrects his mistake.

Exactly at 1 hr mark movie shifts into medical mafia, political drama and villain entry. So what's the point of first 1 hr?? It's totally unrelated to the movie.

The only person saving this movie is manobala. From the moment he appeared till end it's comedy riot which is actually enjoyable forgetting all the logic, physics, story everything. Was also happy to see Manivannan.

I mean it was a masala film with comedy, fight, emotions and stuffs. The comedy segment with Manobala was enjoyable to me. Santa's comedy made me laugh a few time though the crowd seemed to laugh (I honestly thought that they added the "crowed laughing" background sound in few instances). One thing that I made me very uncomfortable was definitely the Women objectification through the movie. The characters always ogled the actresses whenever they get a chance and made sure that we knew it verbally too. Like bro I can see you doing it you don't have to spoil my ears with your running commentary too. Idk maybe it has been a long time since I saw movies in that time period I guess 🤷‍♀️
