Strong start to the second series finale

The Jennings' move quickly to get Jared out of harms way and the KGB push Stan into a very difficult corner.

This feels like 'part one' of the second series finale, with a high level of tension created to compel you to find out how it turns out for everybody.

The story is good mix of plot and character development. The intrigue level about Jared and who killed his family is through the roof, whilst the situation with Stan is at a similar level. Also very interesting is the suspicion level Paige has about her parents and all the possibilities of how a reveal of their identity would impact the family.

Performances are excellent from everyone and the overall production is as strong as ever.

It does its job of putting you on the edge ready for the climactic episode of series two.

Trivia
The reference Henry makes that "it's coming out in June" is to the movie Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan which was released on June 4, 1982. He also says "the first one was terrible", referencing Star Trek: The Motion Picture.

Goofs
While tracking Jared, Larrick studies a map of the Hampton Roads, Virginia area, on which the I664 Monitor-Merrimac Bridge-Tunnel connecting Suffolk and Newport News is depicted. The bridge-tunnel did not exist until 1992.
