- Catherine Chandler: It's neither.
- Vincent Keller: We actually can't say. Just in case anyone asks, it's better you don't know.
- J.T. Forbes: Well, could you at least give us a clue? Is it city, country?
- Catherine Chandler: Suburbia.
- J.T. Forbes: Suburbia? You mean like white picket fences and labradoodles?
- Tess Vargas: [hitting him] Stop. It sounds great. I wish I could go.

- Tess Vargas: What? At least there's no garbage lining the street.
- J.T. Forbes: But they're city people. We're all city people. You can't just leave Manhattan. You'll get bored.
- Vincent Keller: Okay, look, we haven't actually agreed to anything yet.
- Tess Vargas: When do you have to decide by?
- Catherine Chandler: Right away. Another couple just decided against relocation, so we'd be taking over their cover, so Knox would want us to move in tonight.
- Tess Vargas: Tonight?
- Vincent Keller: And the bright side is that Catherine and I would finally get a chance to, well, live this normal life we've always wanted.
- Catherine Chandler: More like the FBI's idea of a normal life.
- Vincent Keller: It'll get us out of the spotlight, right? And who knows, maybe the grass really is greener in suburbia.
- Tess Vargas: Okay, well, whether it is or not, it's definitely too dangerous for you guys to be here right now. I don't think you have much of a choice.
- Catherine Chandler: What about Gabe? We can't just walk away and let him get away with murder, again.
- J.T. Forbes: We'll figure out what Gabe did with the witness. We'll just pick up where you left off, right?
- Tess Vargas: Yeah.
- Vincent Keller: Uh, no offense, buddy, but how are you gonna just pick up where I left off?
- J.T. Forbes: Okay, look, I may not have beast sense, but I've got common sense, all right? Plus, my girl here has got a badge and a gun, so have a little faith, will you?
- Vincent Keller: Okay.
- J.T. Forbes: We won't let you down. We'll get Gabe. Mostly because we know if we don't, you can't come back, and that's not gonna work for any of us.
- Tess Vargas: What he said.
- Tess Vargas: J.T.?
- J.T. Forbes: Over here.
- Tess Vargas: What, you don't answer your phone anymore?
- J.T. Forbes: Not when I'm sulking, no.
- Tess Vargas: You know Vincent's been trying to call you.
- J.T. Forbes: Vincent what? I-is he all right?
- Tess Vargas: Yeah, sort of. They're actually back in town. Apparently it didn't work out wherever they went.
- J.T. Forbes: Why? What happened?
- Tess Vargas: Well, it's a long story, but I gather the short of it is you can take the girl out of the city, but you can't take the city out of the girl. Plus, they were getting shot at, so...
- J.T. Forbes: They can't go anywhere, those two. So, what are they gonna do?
- Tess Vargas: Stay and fight, I guess. I just hope Agent Knox comes through with that exoneration before Gabe outs Vincent.
