I don't understand the fascination with watching people who have gained wealth through their dysfunctional ways. Christley is irritating and the whole show is irritating. It is clearly an attempt to springboard off the Kardashian or Osbourne or Simmons reality junk programming.
There is no story, there is no acting, the characters are unlikable and self absorbed and neurotic. It is not therapeutic or redeeming for the Christleys nor the audience, it is the epitome of TV as a vast wasteland.
If this is what keeps you going to watch this dribble, enjoy. I have better uses of my time, like watching paint dry.

This show is okay for an episode or two, until you realize that every episode is the same. There is some type of competitive family conflict which eventually causes the family to come together to solve it. The words "together" and "competitor" is used in every episode. Of course they are all plastic trying to portray the perfect "beautiful" American family (more like an ad for veneers, plastic surgery and Botox), an apparent necessity for reality television. What they need to do is come together as a family and open up the closet door to allow Todd to come out.
This robotic plastic artificial humanoid just got indicted by the Federal Government. I wonder if the show will continue? Sadly, Chrisley and his family are a great example of everything that is wrong with the USA. It is like watching Nero fiddle as Rome burns.
So, I made sure to watch a few episodes from different seasons just to be sure I could rate it fairly.
I hope the viewing audience that keeps this show going realizes this isn't true reality TV. I don't believe any part of this show is completely unscripted. None of this is done on the first take.
Maybe that's what keeps this show going; it's consistent and predictable.

I accidently came across this monstrosity of a show one night while spinning the channels. Why does this self-possessed gay guy and his self-possessed family (are those HIS children?) have a tv show? And it's been on since 2014!?! If a large portion of our society likes and watches this abhorrent mess, we are in deep ca-ca. Even if a small portion does...they walk among us! 😳
