I really enjoyed this film. It has a very good concept of what is really going on today. I like how aggressive the actors are and clearly shows you don't mess with Italians. Strong acting and a great storyline!
Cold Pressed pulls back the shade on a crime syndicate that I knew nothing about and explores the limitations of greed and forgery. An ensemble cast delivers a gripping story that will keep you engaged until the very end. Characters who are all to willing to betray each other in the pursuit of profit and petty desires create several storylines that operate in parallel with each other.
The world of Italian gangsters in the USA. However, these gangsters aren't running numbers or peddling drugs, but dealing in dodgy olive oil. Quite unexpected. It's just as absorbing as any crime drama, and the lesser known subject matter gives the genre a seriously refreshing twist. Recommended.
Cold Pressed is a great indie thrill ride!! It's suspenseful and well done, is a bit of a throwback to gangster movies, but what surprised me the most was the setting of the story within an olive oil company. The performances are awesome and the direction is smart and cutting. I really enjoyed this and definitely recommend it to anyone who loves movies, it's fantastic! Bravo.
I knew very little about this subject, and I was pleasantly surprised how well this film was done.
I was taken on a journey about the olive oil industry, and was totally immersed in this Indie gem. Intrigue and olive oil, what more could anyone want!
