Sheer stupidity

Watching this, I realized just how stupid and selfish this mother was. She put her daughters in danger playing detective instead of turning him into the police. She had plenty of opportunities to get him out with the police but decided to play 'Murder she wrote' with her life and those of her children. She really, really played with fire and is darn likely he didn't do physical harm to her children. Your friends tell you he looks like like someone on America's Most Wanted and then plays detective instead of going to the police. Sorry, she took a lot of unnecessary risks that could have been fatal.
