This show gets better and better with every episode. I can't believe the extraordinary leaps the Wachowskis are taking with this show. They display life in a whole different way than I've ever seen, quite literally in this episode. The final scene brought me to tears.
Granted yes it's very graphic. But life is graphic. The Wachowskis are making one of the most honest and powerful shows I've ever seen and I applaud them for doing that. I hear they have 5 season of the show mapped out and I can't wait to see what else they have to show me.
If you've only seen the first episode and you though it sucked I agree. It's one of those shows that takes a while to get it's feet off the ground. But trust me it gets so much better. It tackles real life issues and really makes you wonder about the things that are possible in this world.

I have never commented on an episode of a series before, until now. What an incredible, unique experience watching this episode was! I'm moved to tears.
Noticed that when ever the Wachowskis have directed the episode it is a repeat from their previous ones. I agree the classical piece in the end is nice but 9.1. It is actually rather dull. . . . . . . Idea of the series is good but the storyline is weak and, lets face it, they are utterly boring and repetitive. One should expect the writers to get more out of this but it has been stuck going on circles and nothing is happening. I can't see the point for so much porn and long meaningless dialogues, musical pieces during which the mental state or feelings of a person are ripped in pieces. Cast is OK, characters are OK but something is still missing, I Would not recommend.
Last 10minutes.... Literally gossebumps stuff. ..... It is very reasonable why this episode has rating 9.0.

- TriviaThe opening scene is filmed at the Holocaust Memorial (das Holocaust-Mahnmal) in Berlin. The quote on the wall says:
"Ist der Holocaust ein Irrweg oder eine Spiegelung unseres selbst?" ("Is the Holocaust an aberration, or a reflection of ourselves?")
- GoofsWhen Lito calls Hernando from the tub, his smart phone is clearly just on the main screen, not in a call.
- Quotes
Kala Dandekar: The first time I went into a house like this in Bombay they had no beds, but they had a television as big as this. I mean, how can a TV be more important than a bed?
Capheus: Ah, that's simple. The bed keeps you in a slum. The flat screen takes you out.
