Australia's own Jim Jefferies is the sort of comedian that is probably going to make his countrymen laugh and offend Americans.

In this Netflix special, plenty of ground is covered: Oscar Pistorius, gun control, disabled people and Neil Diamond and more. Nothing is off limits. All delivered with a heavy dose of C-bombs sprinkled in. Actually, oftentimes more than sprinkled in.

Sometimes you don't want to laugh but it's almost impossible not to.

"Jim Jefferies: BARE" is a show for that audience that enjoy jokes that are aimed below the belt. No doubt about it, and even the title of the show hints at that too.

As much as I like Jim Jefferies and his stand-up comedy routines, then this particular show was just a tad too much focused on things below the belt, to the point where it was becoming too much.

Don't get me wrong, because the jokes are still good and his performance is spot on, but it just became too repetitive to hear about essentially the same stuff over and over, with too much focus on sexual matters.

This particular stand-up show is definitely one that will not appeal to everyone, because it is full of degrading and sexists jokes. I did manage to sit through this show in its entire length, but I doubt that I will ever return to watch it again.

If you're after low bar humour, you still missed it here. It's worse.

I'll start off with the fact that I do enjoy Jefferies his schtick. His abrasive humor, when done well, can be really funny.

This show however, is just really misogynistic and I couldn't continue watching. The jokes are really geared towards men in a way that makes me uncomfortable. I bet the average fan will call me a snowflake, but it's just that the way he portrays himself makes it dull. Ricky Gervais can be a prick, but he knows what he is and uses it. With Jefferies this used to be the case, but this show just ain't it.

So yeah, if you like jokes about anal sex and how Jim likes it because women don't, then he'll be your cup of tea. If not, don't bother.
