    Punching bags everywhere here

Tuff guy druggy losers punch each other and neither gets hurt. Throw in the cattle prod sticks, Don't matter. What's that? Hood sparring with a tree? Yup he's indestructible. U would think disturbed's song- indestructible was playing right now, yet sadly it ain't. I will agree with the other reviewer. Seeing deva continue down an emo idgaf path is lame and predictable. Kinda funny seeing deputy do good's ex-wife now getting pounded by proctor, the man he hates. The Asian drag queen cross dresser idk what he is aka jobe is the best character out of all of them. Besides the non talking henchman of proctor. I want more of them!

    Completely ridiculous

I really don't know how an episode like this one has a 8.9 rating it has no logic awful camera work and really stupid acting And I I would like to point to the really poor character that they made of the mayor who has no personality and zero self-respect, and a very, very bad parenting skills I mean first you find out that your wife has been lying to you for the past 15 years about who she is and what she used to do and also being the daughter of a mob boss, then she cheats on you and she just keeps lying and treating you and her daughter and son really bad so instead of dumping her and taking the kids away from such a toxic criminal, he still hits on her and wants to be with her(and that's really crazy.) And there is the daughter that no one ever raises or tells that stealing, doing drugs and Going to shady places with total strangers, sometimes criminals drug dealers is wrong they just go pick her up from whatever problem she puts herself in drive her home and that's it. What kind of parents are they I mean I know that the mother and the biological father are thiefs and a killers so I could understand that theyare a terrible parents, but the father, I mean you're the mayor for god sake's it's just not logical that he does not even talk to his daughter and trying to correct her attitude or in other words, being a good parent.

It's just a good hitting and shooting series it has no real plot really poor character development and just many voids in the story , really mediocre series at best.

    yet another Hall of Famer...

Have seen a lot of film and TV, have reviewed a lot of film and TV, and I have never seen a "family intervention" like the one that popped off the top of this episode.

Yet another "oh wow" moment from a series that is becoming synonymous with patenting a new kind of Crazy from the Writers Pit.

What is distressing however (and please understand I LOVE this series, I am an addict, I have even started a 12-step program) is that, after the scene in question, in the dialog that followed between the parents, they made an "inside joke" actually using the word "intervention." As a critic, it is my job to tell you that is a warning sign. Just a small one, but a warning sign nonetheless.

I believe we now reached the point in Banshee -- and this is very rare for any show in the history of TV -- where the writers are now competing entirely against themselves. Because there is no other show left standing in this undeclared "cage match" that even comes close.

This is both good and bad.

Good because the fans get adrenalin shock after adrenalin shock from week to week as the writers go progressively insane.

Bad because, when you compete against yourself, you lose the yardstick of common sense. In the last few episodes the writers have gratuitously killed off some of the most memorable characters in TV history; and, in the view of this writer, the show's chewy moral center, which was always tenuous at best, is slowly disappearing. Deva (for example) is becoming a very unsympathetic character in a show which can no longer afford to add any more unsympathetic characters to its roster.

    Just saying...
