This Is Rome

Best episode of the season, the end scene is amazing with an incredible acting. The rest of the season still good, but this episode is Litt Up!

Watching this series for the first time in 2025 - I know, a decade (and a bit) late - but better late than never, right? Honestly, I don't usually leave reviews, but Season 4, Episode 10 left me no choice.

Rick Hoffman... TAKE A BOW, SON. The last 8 minutes had me in an absolute chokehold. The emotional rollercoaster Louis goes through - not just in this episode but across the past two - is nothing short of phenomenal. The way he switches emotions, the vulnerability, the anger, the pain... it's easily one of the best performances I've seen on TV in a long time.

For me, this is hands down the best episode out of all 4 seasons so far. I just had to give props where they're due.

Everyone goes to bat for Louis, but because Jessica won't rehire him, he goes rogue. He begins to try to put the hurt on everyone. The inciting thing is a key, given to the top Harvard Law School grad. Mike didn't know about it but should have received this reward because of his class standing. Louis starts to attack and soon finds out the truth about Mike. He threatens to bring down Harvey, Jessica, and anyone else who gets in his way. His demand is to be made a named partner, with his name part of the firm. He is about as mean and ugly as one can be. Jessica has to buckle under and go with it--a great sacrifice for her. Louis goes to Mike and Rachel's home and threaten's both of them. This is a solid episode with great implications, setting up the future.

I'm rewatching Suits for the 4th time since the final episode in 2019 and every time I get to S04E10 I just smile during the last 8 minutes of this episode all while getting slight shivers due to Rick Hoffman's performance. My God that is FANTASTIC acting. I could feel the energy through my screen and felt like a proud screenplay director.

I just had to give credit after finishing the episode right now in April 2025 at 2am! Scenes like these among many others in the series are why I keep repeating this brilliant show!

Awesome writing! As much as I appreciate the spinoff, they should bring the OG back. Shout out to Mr. Korsch.

The ending was mind blowing. WOW. In the last episode (GONE), Louis resigned and whatever he wrote in the resignation letter fits best with this episode ending.
