This show as many other reviewers has said is both funny and annoying.
All episodes seems to follow the same pattern.
The boss of the team tells the others which monster they are going to catch. The team get's all excited, they talk to an eye witness, then they build a trap. The rest of the episode contains the team running around in the woods at night. They scream and yell and starts pointing their guns all over the place as soon as they hear something.
They never find the creature they were looking for except for some footprints and clawmarks.
Although it's quite funny watching these scared to death men running from the fake beasts.

Why would a bunch of yahoos pointing guns at each other be considered entertaining? WORST display of gun safety I have ever seen. Dumbest television show ever!
Funny...there always scared with the same sound fx..the cameras always panning around in different directions..with that creature size? you can always capture that in camera with night vision if this show is legit...bunch of wannabes...
These guys on this show are full of crap! They have never even caught a monster. The show should be about build traps that never caught anything but the hunters themselves. Every encounter is the same. They end up stuck in a cabin while the monster is banging and making all kinds of noise. The monster makes it in but never goes upstairs while the other group of guys make their way to the cabin but never spot a monster. When someone calls them about a sighting they show the same video on a camera or phone that pretty much looks the same ( like a bent over tree you can't make out what kind it is). Absolutely ridiculous. I've never seen anything that has been 12 ft tall on this show not even a house. You guys are a joke!!!
This is essentially a copy of Mountain Monsters, walk 6 feet into the woods, find a footprint, build a trap and catch f*ck all, but with a big shortfall. I love Mountain because of the characters, you wont find yourself cheering for these guys like you did for Buck,Jeff,Trapper and co. Mountain is a fantastic mix of Scooby Doo and The A Team with a bit of Benny Hill thrown into a huge pot of nonsense, perfect for a laugh filled hour of escapism, Alaska Monsters follows the exact same formula but never pulls it off, it suffers from the same problem that afflicts an Elvis impersonator, they're not Elvis. That's not to say it's not a laugh, it's just that Mountain has completely cornered the market in lovable bearded nitwits stumbling around loosing shots off into the darkness. If you've never seen Mountain Monsters then this is worth a look, it will make you smile in the same way a bad horror movie does, but for Wild Bill fans it will leave you cold, I've watched the 1st 4 episodes and haven't shouted at the t.v once, never a good sign.
