Absolutely stunning movie, the acting is great, music tracks are excellent and the events are coming up very nicely.

For the first time, an Arabic movie that makes you enjoy every single second... This movie is perfectly describing the suffering of young Arabs affected accidentally by the HIV. Watching this movie will change your whole perception of the HIV and makes you think that it can happen to anyone if the right preventions are not taken seriously. The movie illustrates different cases of people rejected by their families, friends and society while they have to deal with their own suffering and in need of support from others around them.

Congrats icflix on this production and hope to see more content in the future.

To be honest I didn't know what I was about to watch, I was expecting a movie to be your usual story that would stay on the surface of HIV but never dive into the psychology and day to day lives of people with HIV.

But i was wrong! story dove deep into the issues, acting was excellent, you can always appreciate young talent. I was even pleasantly surprised that the movie does have some twists and turns throughout.

I recommend this movie to anyone that is interested in Arabic cinema, appreciates young talent and wants to watch a movie that is not your typical Arabic movie.

This movie was seriously a pleasant surprise. I made my icflix account a few months ago and I mostly use it to watch Hollywood as my Arabic isn't perfect. When I saw they had created an original production, I decided to check it out and luckily it came with English subtitles so I could make sure I understood everything.

The movie tackles an issue that many western films have done before, but from a completely new perspective. People with HIV still face stereotyping and rejection in every part of the world, but this is particularly true in the Middle East. Most people are just not educated on the subject and don't want to talk about it as they feel its taboo.

I watched "The Normal Heart" a few months ago after it won an Emmy and I have to say it is interesting to compare the way the story is told in America in the 80's as compared to present-day Egypt.

The main character, Youssef is easy to relate to and shows how much the HIV diagnosis disrupts the personal life of anyone infected. The other characters also help a lot in getting alternative perspectives and show that there are many ways to get HIV, sometimes through no fault of your own, and sometimes through very careless mistakes.

All in all the movie is well worth the watch and I think it would be interesting for anyone to see, even for those outside the Middle East. Hopefully it also changes the perception of some people in the region for the better!

This movie is filled with amazing actors who truly make the film. The casting for this movie is truly perfect, and the actors do not disappoint. The movie reflects the Egyptian environment through the sets, locations,costumes and props.There is a normal flow from shot to shot and it enhances the narrative of story how Youssef discovers he is infected with HIV, how this affects his life and the people around him how and the he tries to reclaim the life he once had. The sound track of the film is so expressive and overwhelming. Overall, this is a great movie; it is mixed with tears, emotions and down to earth real life all gathered in one. undoubtedly it is the movie for you to watch.

This movie helped me see HIV in a whole different light, I'm a 29 year old mom from South Africa so if anyone says this movie isn't for everyone, they're wrong because this movie speaks to everyone.

Trust me... This movie is a story of heroes, and I'll never forget it.

I don't want to ruin the plot for everyone so I wanted to keep it short however IMDb does not allow me to review a movie with less than 10 lines.

The story of Yousef is a journey of the soul. SOmetimes we do not think of how easy it is to get the virus. It isn't only through sexual intercourse. It could be through needles, saliva, etc.. Most of these encounters can happen by accident and not in the way we all stereotype HIV patients.

In closing, a well done short movie that sheds light on a taboo issues in the middle east and eastern cultures as a whole.
