They are more entertaining than Fast N Loud they both can you do some good build both shows build the wrong cars sometimes
And that's just fine in my book. There is no way the premise of this show is anything but just some idea that Richard had to keep the glory of Fast n Loud on it's new market as the show moves into a higher bracket of car build, but still keep touch with that initial work that Gas Monkey started with but generally don't go near (or show at least) now.
1. Thomas & Richard have known each other for years, if there is a car wheeler & dealer that Richard can trust to make good deals, it's Thomas (he wouldn't ask Dennis, he's already a millionaire & would just look for Holy Grail cars). 2. Tom & Jordan know their way around a car inside & out and Jordan always showed himself to be a conscientious employee on Fast n Loud putting in the long hours to bring a build home. 3. Tom was ridiculously popular with the viewers. How to utilize that? Give him his own show & let him shine. 3. Tom & Jordan (or Scott) don't have the bearded wonders hipster cred. 4. The format with Sue is exactly the same. 5. Richard is always coming around to see his "tenants", he does this because he's the puppetmaster pulling the strings.
If you make comparisons with Fast n Loud & expecting the same, you're making a mistake & will be disappointed. If you're taking it as a spin-off / extension from Fast n Loud that's entertaining in its own right & does all those things that Gas Monkey used to do, you'll love Misfit Garage. The guys put their heart & soul into each build, Thomas brings the market nous & it seems to be working for them, plus they have the naivety of Soup Bone to keep you amused, he's the Fire Up Garage version of the shop cat.
Very entertaining & recommended viewing.

Tom Smith is not funny and the show spent way too much time thinking he was. Fart jokes can only last so long.
Even though you can tell most of it is staged they diid well at carrrying it out.

Look as a show it grows on you, it's not the best out there but it does ok for itself, the only pitfall is this brain dead half wit they had to bring in when they lost their previous strung out painter. John your not making your mum proud out you by carrying on like a spoilt little girl scout, just stop whinging ffs, makes me wanna fly to America and slap some sense into you.
I have to say I was a little skeptical about the show, but having watched all of the season 1, I have been very pleasantly surprised. The sales point of Fast n Loud is - Richard. His flamboyant ways and bigger than life persona. Having watched and re-watched all of the available episodes of Fast n Loud I could not help but notice the change in Richard's attitude and the way he treats his workers. He started as a reasonably humble person in the first reason but as he became more famous and rich, I do believe his attitude started to change. Watching the later episodes one can notice the way his crew are not that happy working for him. The relationship is a lot colder and I don't believe Richard has much respect for the work his crew does. What I love about Misfit Garage- is the way the crew operates. Every single person enjoys their work and has a bunch of fun too. I can see that besides disagreements and occasional 'oops' moments the crew still stands shoulder to shoulder and I like the vibe that the show has. Perhaps giving 10 stars is a little generous, but when I saw the rating I believe the show deserves a better rating than that, that's why I was compelled to bump up the rating a little by giving it a perfect score. I hope it will be continued into the third season. Best of Luck to you guys!
