The episode title, "Terra Pericolosa" is an Italian phrase for "dangerous land", used in cartography (map making) to denote regions that are believed to be likely to put the travellers in jeopardy.

Goofs
Holmes tells Watson (at around 19 mins) that he hears a helicopter landing on the roof of the office building. Rooftop landings in New York City came to a virtual halt after a fatal May 1977 accident at the then-Pan Am (currentlt MetLife) Building in midtown. Today, helicopter landings in Manhattan are only permitted at the city's ground-based heliports.
