    "Aaaaaaand...Okay"

Another great episode, this time with the Beifong's in charge. What I really liked about this episode was the way things fell into place. We had the whole Lin/Toph dynamic. We saw Kuvira's true intentions. We finally knew what Zhu Li was up to. Some questions were raised, some were answered. Minor conflicts were resolved while a bigger one was brooding. The plot is thickening and the end is nearing.

The standout moment in this episode was obviously Kuvira's intentions with her super weapon. But Bolin's very particular question, (with the best face reaction ever!) the Lin/Toph dynamic, TOPH, specific characters showing a change of heart (or showing a glimpse of it) and an outstanding Kuvira vs Suyin fight are also worth mentioning. Things are heating up with only two weeks left and 3 episodes remaining! Who knows how this will all end!

    • Trivia
Kuvira's vine-ray cannon is modeled after a real weapon: WW1 German "Paris Gun", a massive siege super cannon manufactured by Krupp. Nicknamed "Big Bertha" by the French, it had a caliber of 238 mm and its shells were the first man-made objects to reach the stratosphere. It had an effective range of over 81 miles, and it was used to bombard the city of Paris. Parisians, unable to see it, often confused the shells to be bombs from a high-altitude zeppelin.
    • Goofs
When Lin Beifong fights Kuvira on top of the cannon, they cause miscellaneous damage to the platform, railing, and rip off the hatch to the inside of the cannon. Along with this, Kuvira throws one of the carts that was on the platform off of the cannon. However, when Bolin, the Beifongs, and Zhu Li fly off on Juicy, the top of the cannon becomes visible again and all of the damage that happened during the fight has disappeared and the cart that was thrown has reappeared on the platform. Along with this, the rocks that the Beifongs used to tip the cannon earlier disappear.
