Fantastic show about the first comic to bring heroes down to earth.

It's sort of depressing to see people mentioning shows like Heroes and novels published just a few years ago as being material that this show "ripped off". How can someone have access to the Internet and be so exceptionally misinformed?

Much like the comic series it's based on, this show is the first ever depiction of heroes that gets it right. Watchmen is iconic and exceptional, but in the end that's an exceptional story written about what it's "really like to have super powers". Powers on the other hand, is what it's like to be human in a world occupied by super powered beings.

I liked the original casting of Walket better in the FX pilot, but I'm here for the amazing story and gritty realism, and Powers provides it in spades. I'm even growing to like the new actor in the role.

If you're looking for something that doesn't exist anywhere or on any network, this is that show. It's amazing.

Trivia
The game Krispin is playing is the Playstation exclusive InFamous: Second Son. It appears to be changed to resemble a game about the Powers characters with the lead of Delsin Rowe wearing the skin of the character "Diamond".
