Line et Françoise

This episode is glorious. Dominated by women and played with immaculate comic timing by the two senior chanteuses at the funeral. One of the very few things I have watched more than once. The comedy builds when you're familiar with the characters. Je l'adore.

Even if I am not French I can follow the original version of this series and I am quite enjoying it. The characters are believable and not too stereotypical, they talk like normal human beings and live in suitable apartments, considering how crazily expensive Paris is.

The little mystery of the first episode is easily solved and I already guessed who Camille was for Mathias. I am glad that is out of the way and they did not drag it on. I am totally unfamiliar with the two elderly ladies but I read they're famous French stars and they deliver a good performance. I imagine, this episode would have been even more poignant if I knew them.

Loved the ending, sort of cynical but so very true.
