Okay, all those who like "New Girl" would agree that it is the most underrated show currently on T.V !! Not a lot of people like it that much !! The reason may be the fact that it doesn't have too many punches & jokes in its writing !! But I think what makes this show special is its physical comedy !! And the actors are the best !! The whole gang especially the guys "Nick, Schmidt, Winston & Coach" will make you laugh like hell with their physical-comedy-timing (if that's what you call it) !! And the characters of this show are so weird,if they were real people, they'd be the biggest weirdos of America !! And the way the show makers showcase that weirdness is just hilarious !! And this episode is a perfect example of that !! Just like any other "New Girl" episode, it was "WEIRD" & it was "FUNNY" !!!
This is a great episode with wonderful performances by Zooey, Jake and Max. As Schmidt and Nick have worked together on a new product to present to Lori Grenier but Nick forgets the prototype. Jess drives to the meeting with the prototype, but spills coffee on her dress on the way. She has the swuit (a failed product idea) in the car, so she changes into the swuit before taking the prototype into the meeting. In the meantime, Nick and Schmidt are bombing the presentation. When Zooey pops into the meeting, Lori wants to know about the swuit. Jess does an excellent job presenting the swuit idea and the team of Miller & Schmidt. Lori ends up paying them $10k to kill the swuit to avoid competition with another product of hers. Once again, Jess comes through for Nick.
REEEEEALLY BAD, this is THE WORST episode I've ever seen!
I remembered liking New Girl a lot, so I borrowed some DVDs and was happily watching when I got to this episode--it is so incredibly awful, I had to stop watching and sign in here. When I saw that there were only 2 other reviews of this episode--both of them giving it a rating of "10", with the overall imdb rating of "7.2", mind you--I felt compelled to give an actual bona fide review.
I don't know who wrote and/or directed this particular episode (I'll look after I'm done here), but it stands out among all the others as being just... REALLY BAD!
You have been warned!
