Good program, but a glaring error!

In episode one the host shows an experiment desinged to prove who was right about the fundemental nature or reality.. Einstein or Borh. Long story short, if 4 numbers generated by the experiment added to more than 2, Borh wins out. Less than 2, Einstein was right all along. The numbers were. .56 .82..Minus .59 and .56. He adds all four as positive integers and .. Ah Ha! Borh was right! The actual figure is 1.35.

I now need to add 600 more characters, but rather than bore you with my pretentious claptrap I will just say this is well worth watching, if you are a budding physicist, or like me, just an average bloke desperate for entertainment not aimed at the lowest common denominator, something to entertain, inform and maybe even spark a few old brain cells back to life.

    Interesting and Fun

There is a lot missing from this series.. It attempts to join theory, belief and I wish and I think together to make things be as real. It is fun and thought provoking and hopefully sometime in the future more answers will come. But there needs a lot more for this to come to be fact and not theory and beliefs before we get too far along.

    Good and enjoyable.

Don't understand even half of it but good documentary. My head is spinning. :-)

It would have been better to cover some of the areas in a bit more detail in a third episode.

I don't give a lot of tens, but

Man this show is fascinating! We are taken on a journey in time, across different continents, and shown the experiments that were performed to establish the fundamental truths of quantum mechanics. They don't forget anything, they even include all the the best quotes from the historical scientists.

The first episode gets extremely interesting in the second half because it shows an experiment performed by scientists in Berkeley to actually determine whether Einstein or Neil's Bohr was correct about the fundamental weirdness of quantum mechanics. The experiment is so interesting I'm not going to give it away. If you are interested in quantum mechanics and you're willing to tolerate the sheer bizarreness of it all, then definitely watch this. If I was still teaching physics I would absolutely show this to my students.

    Excellent Series!

This series is extremely well produced in that it piques your interest and maintains curiosity throughout. I thought it would take far longer than the 2 hour lecture, given most tutorials on Quantum Physics are very dry, convoluted or overly dense.

The approach using many real world examples in astronomy, biology, card games, lab experiments provide a constant reminder of how closely many scientific fields are related. The humor is dealt in small measure to keep the conversation light enough for breathing room to further comprehension.

High recommend for even casual viewing and an introspective of the many mysteries of the Universe. Bravo!!!
