    Filler

Not only is this a filler episode but what little material there was had to be stretched to the breaking point to fill out 44 minutes. Why is it the zombies don't mind nuclear radiation but they do mind being cold? And as I've pointed out before: ALL members of the military, no matter if they are a cook or an Admiral, HAVE to prove that they are proficient with a pistol. Police officers, also.

I used to love this. Now not so much

I realize that this is sort of a comedy show. I watched it up until Zombie Road. Which I assume is sort of the Mad Max Fury Road but with zombies.

What I don't get is how before when they shot they actually hit them. Now it's like none of them have used a gun before. I understand the attempt.

This is too much. I just do not get how before they used to be so much better at shooting a gun then suddenly with this episode got much worse.

As I said I understand the attempt and appreciate it. What got me was the lack of consistency with the characters. I'm out.

    The Z-Weed

The survivors help a convoy that is attacked on the road and their leader Sam Custer invites them to join his team. He explains that they are heading to Edmonton, Canada, since it is a cold place that zombies do not like. During their journey, the group is attacked by bounty hunters, looters and a dangerous breed of zombies.

"Zombie Road" is a funny episode of "Z Nation", with the powerful Z-Weed made using zombie corpses as fertilizer. It is good to see the veteran William Sadler back in a horror film. The fast and powerful zombies are also another funny moment of this show. My vote is seven.

    • Trivia
When Roberta is using 10-K's rifle scope to view the semi trunk with a snowplow attached as a battling ram, Doc says; "Is that some kind of a post apocalyptic battle train?" Roberta replies; "Well it ain't no 3:10 to Yuma." 3:10 to Yuma (2007) is a western about awaiting to board a train to go to court in Yuma.
    • Goofs
After Doc and Wrecking Ball jump out of the moving Charger, you can see that there is still someone driving the vehicle (at 21:58). When the bandits go to get in the vehicle, the drivers seat is empty.
