THE BEST episode of BoJack so far.

Sadness, Happiness, Compassion all of this was on this episode. To be honest I wasn't delightful at all, half of the season was actually a true disappointment for me, end of the 1st season was so nice. Why won't you continue like that?

However in the nearly the end of the 2nd season was perfect (Including final of this season) it's starting getting better and better until it reaches its peak. Development of BoJack changes temporarily and you can face this every second of this masterpiece. I'm thankful for the episodes like this and hope it'll continue in this condition. ABSOLUTE CINEMA🙏

Maybe the best netflix show by far

For intance Daredevil, Punisher, Narcos, HOC, Hounting of the hill house. And Bojack Horseman. Those are - in my opinion - best netflix original out there. I have been avoiding to watch this so for a quite some time. Eventually I finally watched first episode And now about 30 hours later here I am, stunned how great drama season two episode eleven was. Jokes all along are well written And very well executed by voiceactors/actresses. Characters are deep, easy To understand, very familiar like: this, And magnificent opening theme, visuals, acting, And espcially original script achieves a lot. This is without a doubt maybe one of the best tv show out there.

    A daring masterpiece!

I am simply speechless about this episode! I never thought this show would get so good and complex, going into territorry that only a few shows would ever dare to do!

This episode changed my perspective on BoJack qnd i can never look at him the same way again! This is incredible writting!

In an attempt to escape L. A, BoJack believes he can find true harpiness, but no matter where you go... you cant escape YOU!

The events that udfold are simple schocking and heartbraking as BoJack makes the biggest mistake yet! Charlotte's words were a gut-punch you will never forget!

This was the story of a flawed character.. who could not escape his own mistakes!

After all, you are still just you

Bojack left LA where his past and the mistakes he made were kept to go to New Mexico, the only place where he had ever imagined his true happiness (marrying Charlotte), but the first shock was that Charlotte was the one he really wanted to have a future with a family. Bojack even asked Charlotte's daughter if her parents really loved each other. Bojack was willing to tear apart another family just to find the only ray of hope for his own happiness.

And after being accepted by his family, Bojack gave up everything in LA, both his job and his reputation to become a "normal" person, giving up his old self, giving up the halo and image he always haunted and becoming a normal but "happy" person.

The event Bojack encourages children to use alcohol and refuses, running away from responsibility for his own actions when Maddie is at risk of dying from alcohol, no matter where he is, Bojack still hasn't changed, he's still just a coward who always tries to avoid bad things and always wants good things to come to him without having to suffer the consequences, like when he releases glowing balls just to recall memories with Charlotte despite the consequences it causes, when Charlotte tells him about the birds that can be hit but Bojack completely ignores and only cares about "good memories", for Bojack his own happiness is everything but then the very thing he considers good memories (balloons) drags him back to the cruel reality where he has to face his actions.. He kisses Charlotte and for the first time he gets rid of his cowardice to express his own feelings, that he loves Charlotte and wants to build a life with her, but it's still about Bojack himself, he's still him, still the one who only cares about his own feelings, Bojack ignores the fact that Charlotte has a family and children. He denies all the efforts and worlds of others, tries to entice Charlotte to run away with him and constantly interrupts her to try to convince her, Bojack's desperate efforts make us both pity and disgust this man. And the peak of his depravity is when Bojack wants to "make love" with the daughter who just rejected him. In the scene on the water tank, we see Bojack say "you look a lot like your mother", Bojack's depravity at the end of the film shows us his desperation in possessing and finding happiness even though it is just an illusion of himself. The act of refusing and trying to dissuade Penny (Charlotte's daughter) when she wants to do adult things with Bojack many times creates a clear contrast and moral side of Bojack in just a few short minutes. Bojack's moral decline at the end of the movie and the ending scene and the opening theme song that plays highlight the parallels of the episode, although the boat escapes L. A., he is using it to return to L. A., symbolizing Bojack returning to his old self. Any attempt to change, to deny the old self will never succeed. We should really face ourselves and learn from our past mistakes to grow, not just run away.

My Favorite Episode of Television... Ever

Escape From L.A is simply a work of art. It's an episode the entirety of this season has been leading up to and it certainly doesn't disappoint. Bojack has always been amazing when it comes to blending comedy and drama and 2x11 is in my opinion the best example of this.

If I could rewatch an episode for the first time again it would be this one.

    • Crazy credits
The title sequence is not shone in this episode, instead a cheesy theme song is played called "Kyle and the Kids".
