After a failed attempt to kill Howard Silk's wife in the hospital, the wounded Baldwin gets a new assignment - she has to kill her other-self. At the same time, Prime Howard Silk manages to escape from an attempt for his life and he returns to the Alpha World to continue his chase after Baldwin. Together with Aldrich, they look up Nadia Fierro (Baldwin's Alpha) to capture Baldwin, while Alpha Howard tags along still without any understanding of what is going on.
The second episode reveals us the past of Baldwin (and her Alpha). We also learn more about Prime Howard and his relationship with his estranged wife Emily who also works for the agency. Few bits are given about how the parallel universes have evolved.
Slower and less exciting than the first episode, the second one keeps the atmosphere and moves the story forward while still leaving everything open. Some new layers are added to the characters while it is still unclear who is the real 'bad guy'.

I won't try to re-create the wonderful synopsis put forth by a previous reviewer. Thank you! I believe I'm getting a grasp on things. The issue that is always on the table is that once characters know their connections with the other side (or know they have crossed over), does this dehumanize them in some way? As they try to figure out what their roles in life are in Berlin and the world (hard enough) what about they fact they are being stalked or worse. I will follow along here.

- TriviaA close up of one of the typewriters in the opening shows that the Office Of Interchange is using at least one IBM Selectric typewriter with the typical "golf ball" type head. Inside the Office Of Interchange there is a mix of vintage office technology. Typewriters share desk space with early IBM-like desktop computers and dot matrix printers. The OI uses dated technology to try and "stay in line" with how advanced the alternate universe's technology is; as they have advances in medicine, but not so much in computers & personal electronics.
- GoofsAbout 25 minutes into this episode, after Howard asks for a tranquilizer, he looks at list of names of the orchestra players. They show viewer the list in his hand, and then it cuts to shot of Howard reading list. Then they show a close-up of a name on the list and Howard says it aloud, "Jennifer Wilcox", which is listed under the instrument "KLARINETTEN". If you go back to first showing of the list you see the name where Jennifer Wilcox should be says Lisa Adler, and Jennifer Wilcox is listed under a different instrument, "BRATCHEN", on the left.
