- Hayley Marshall: Klaus is descended from one of the original wolf bloodlines. I'm descended from another. Lucien's venom? It's derived from all the seven packs.
- Klaus Mikaelson: Giving him a bite... that not even I can cure.
- Freya Mikaelson: There were two vials of serum and he only drank one. Maybe it's because the spell will wear off eventually and he'll need another dose.
