Love Larrie. But how come contestants who obtain high scores can't get through the chaser. Disappointed when most the contesants don't get through. Would rather see 3 _4get through and loose in the final chase.
My reason for the low rating is Andrew O'Keefe.
My god he's annoying and difficult to watch in anything, even in his stint during weekend Sunrise had me turn off.
Of the 20+ million people in Australia he's picked for TV? He cannot talk without his hands, waving those things wildly with every word he utters and his far left views are not what is needed on TV, at all.
Apart from that, when contestants on the Chase are trying to answer questions his delivery and inability to control his monkey spankers I'm sure makes it hard for them to answer correctly.
I like watching The Chase, Australia but I would like to see a few changes.
1. The A and B set, contestants have to choose at the end seems unfair. One set us obviously harder than the other. If the chasers are so clever they should always be given the harder set of questions to give the contestants a fair chance.
2. The contestants should be given something at the end even if it's a consolation prize. To leave with nothing doesn't really give them any satisfaction or fulfillment for being on there.
3. In the final chase the contestants have to hear their name said before they can answer that can add up to seconds, which could make all the difference in the outcome, whereas the chaser can answer immediately, so I think the contestants should be given an extra 30 seconds to answer their questions.
4. Lastly, Larry is good and tries really hard to read the questions at the same rate, but I have noticed he sometimes reads those for the chaser faster than he does for the contestants.

This guys constant gibbering interruptions, the flailing of the hands & that fake forced STUPID laugh has just gotten too much. Then the pathetic cringey attempts at humour followed by that fake forced STUPID laugh, also the childish way it treats the contestants it's all just made this show unwatchable
If you like going to Trivia nights or playing the like games then you'll enjoy watching the show. Just forget about the presentation.

- TriviaIn mid-2014, a pilot episode for an Australian series was filmed on the set of the original UK series, The Chase (2009), which had been rating well in Australia since premiering in a 3:00pm weekday timeslot in August 2013. Seven did not pick up the series at the time, but interest in producing a local version was revived in May 2015 when Seven News began to struggle in the ratings. The series was commissioned in July 2015 as a replacement for Deal or No Deal (2003), which had been repeating episodes for several months, and Million Dollar Minute (2013).

Andrew O'Keefe: These four strangers must work as a team to win thousands of dollars, but standing in their way is one of the sharpest minds in Australia, the Chaser. The chase is on.
