Not that bad, actually pretty funny
This is another episode in which I find funny, while true die hard fans don't. What makes it so funny is Sheldon's talking, which creates problems for him and Leonard. The other storyline about a dating app was boring, but Jim Parsons made up for it. Give it a try, I'm sure you'll get a few chuckles.
Kripke is the highlight
How far has this show got left to fall?
Barry Kripke intentionally playing to the camera as he self-references is the highlight of the episode.
The show is so terrible now that the screenshot they have chosen for this episode on IMDb is of the guest star, who isn't even a star!
Really, I have to string this out for 10 whole lines before I can post it. I don't think it deserves that. Even just the brute force effort of wasting space with this filler is more than this episode deserves. My dog is having a nap and seems to be dreaming about chasing something. Maybe if I tape a ball point to his foot he can write next week's script.

Pretty average episode
An average Big Bang Theory episode. The running joke over the relaxed interactions with the helium dealer was pretty stupid, but a little funny at times, especially the Mexican Standoff joke.
Quit now before it gets worse.
This used to be a must-watch weekly event, not any more.
The jokes are NOT FUNNY any more and the plot lines so contrived as to be tedious.
The break came when Penny had her hair cut - she tried to go from being a bimbo to an intellectual, why?
The producers will probably continue to make more episodes in order to sell advertising space but I will not be watching any more, there comes a point when when the lame duck must be put out of it's misery.
I note also that "Sheldon" has been hired by Microsoft to help sell their laptops - does he really need the money that badly ?

Idiot Genius
Sheldon proves to be even more clueless than most couldpi imagine. It turns out that a common criminal is the wisest of the bunch. Overall, a pretty weak episode and an end to Swedish meatballs.

- TriviaRegarding liquid helium, reference is made to party supply stores and to the national reserve. Both of those sources have helium as a gas. The really hard part of making liquid helium is not obtaining the gas but getting it cold enough to liquefy (about -269 degrees C). And because no container is perfectly insulated a tank of liquid helium will warm up and boil off in just a few days.
- GoofsWhen Amy answers the text from Dave on her phone she is actually holding the phone upside down.
- Quotes
Sheldon Cooper: He wears glasses, I'm a know-it-all. We're not built for prison.

Sometimes I have conversations with people who are not there. Not out loud conversations. No Thorazine yet, thank you very much. But I definitely catch myself having spirited debates and heated arguments with folks who exist only in my head. Which doesn't stop them from speaking forcefully, and, at times, eloquently on their own behalf. On occasion they are people I know. Other times they are purely fictional creations, brought into existence to question my thinking, my actions, or just piss me off. (Because there's not enough real people pissing me off, I've gotta make some up.) Anyway, the reason I thought this was worth discussing is that I'm fascinated by what I like to call "the bifurcated self." Consciousness that has split itself in two in order to create its own suffering. (Because there's not enough real suffering going on, we need to make more.) But I've recently become more fascinated by the idea that there is no self at all. That the solution to bifurcation is not reuniting warring selves, it's dropping the entire concept of self. The memories, emotions, thoughts and attitudes that combine to create the self are finally recognized as nothing more than ripples on the surface of a pond. And the truth of what we are, collectively and individually, is the pond itself. That which silently embraces the endless dance of form. Deep. Clear. Still. Reflecting the infinite and eternal, while receiving with equanimity both the beauty and the ugliness that falls into it - even the critical inner voice which is talking to me right now. Excuse me while I respond.
"Shut up, I am too a pond!"
