    Plays it most recklessly

    Louis Cancelmi as Thomas Wilder is back and taunting Donnie Wahlberg in this fine Blue Bloods story. He even rents an apartment using the name of Danny Reagan.

    Commissioner's son or not Will Estes steps into it with a reckless sergeant played by A.J. Buckley. Buckley plays it most recklessly during a hostage situation and Will Estes questions his judgment most vigorously.

    Sammi Gayle invites her grandfather to speak at her school and the usual protests threaten to make her most popular. Tom Selleck is wont to remark how different things have become when ten years earlier she had him speak at her grade school and just beamed with pride.

    Best scene in show is taken right from Raymond Chandler's Farewell My Lovely. Remember in either of the versions with Dick Powell and Robert Mitchum how they got information out of Mrs. Florian? That's what Donnie Wahlberg does with Cancelmi's souse of a mother Candy Buckley. I don't doubt for a minute the writers knew they were lifting that from Raymond Chandler's famous detective novel.

    Still works though.
