    Self absorbed nadia will just talk about herself or her failing food bussiness, and bring out the water works when its time to act like a human with empathy for others.

    am a total masterchef fan, but this is not watchable

    Watched and loved the old seasons, but this re-launch is so bad.

    The three judges are flat boring personalities and the whole production looks like amateur hour compared to for example australias masterchef.

    And almost as bad as US and Canadas version, did they model after that instead of the great UK version?

The choice is dictated by safety regulations and sponsorship, rather than personal preference, and has sometimes caused issues for contestants. During the 2012 season of MasterChef NZ, contestants were asked to wear Crocs. One eliminated contestant, Shane Markham, lamented that the unfamiliar footwear led to him tripping during a challenge and dented his confidence.
