    Phenomenal Experience

This film beautifully captures the events of the tragic Earthquake that impacted the cities and it gives the viewer information that they never knew occurred. I enjoyed the film and definitely a must watch.

    Fantastic movie. Highly recommend.

I was submerged under the beautifully shot scenes and drowning in the epic music... it made me cry...

    tragedy. I was there

No film can convey that horror. I was 17 years old. I was afraid to watch it for a long time. But I wanted to show my children what I went through. Of course, you can shoot a lot of scenes. Everyone has their own terror in their souls. But, well filmed. It was as if I had moved back. I cried for two days. We still don't know the exact number of victims. And our "neighbors" Azerbaijans were very happy for our earthquake and they celebrated it. On the trains carrying with the aid from other coutrys, the Azeris wrote "Congratulations with the earthquake."-- A lot of things there were, in one film its inpossible ti show- Very good casr, good music- THANK YOU.

    Terrible dubbing

Watching on Amazon Prime and you have no choice but a dubbed version . I always prefer original audio and subtitles . Terrible mawkish music . I quickly became bored and switched off .

The collapse of the whole world

I'll be honest. It is very difficult to write a review of this film. It still hurts in my chest when I remember watching the painting. So it touches the soul, especially when you know that the film is based on the events that really happened in Armenia in 1988. Then a terrible earthquake literally turned the whole world upside down for unhappy people, wiping out cities and hundreds of settlements from the face of the earth. 25 thousand people died, more than a hundred thousand became disabled, and 514 thousand lost their homes. And so Sarik Andreasyan took up the film adaptation of this terrible event. And he did it perfectly. He did it with soul and awe, with respect for that story, and, most importantly, in such a way that he managed to convey all the horror, nerve and tragedy of people.

The film masterfully conveys the atmosphere of horror and despair that gripped people at the time of the disaster. The director managed to create such an oppressive and eerie atmosphere that you literally immerse yourself in the events and feel all the tragedy and helplessness that befell people in those terrible days. Thanks to excellent camerawork and careful staging of scenes of destruction, you find yourself in the epicenter of events, feeling every crack in the ground and every piece of debris falling from destroyed buildings. I vividly remember how my chest aches from the hopelessness of the visible frames, how you clench your fists, realizing that you see something terrible, but you can't do anything. And then people couldn't.

The attention to detail and realistic depiction of the earthquake's aftermath are particularly impressive. The filmmakers carefully reproduced the destroyed cities, destroyed houses and the dust covering everything around. This allows you to feel the scale of the tragedy more deeply and realize how unexpected and devastating this natural disaster was.

The film also deserves high praise for its dramatic component. The personal stories of the heroes, their fears, losses and hopes for salvation are conveyed with great strength and sincerity. The actors did an excellent job with their roles, showing not only the physical, but also the emotional pain of their characters. Their game makes you worry and sympathize, feel the full gravity and tragedy of the moment.

I will especially highlight the roles of Konstantin Lavronenko and Maria Mironova, who managed to create deeply developed characters. Their performance brings not only drama to the film, but also human warmth, despite all the horrors of what is happening. They show how people, even on the verge, keep faith in a miracle and are ready to help each other in the most difficult situations.

"Earthquake" is not just a disaster film, it is a powerful drama about people facing incommensurable misfortune. The film raises important questions about the power of the spirit, humanity and the importance of mutual assistance in difficult moments. The painting shows and teaches what it is like to be a human being, when literally even the most seemingly small act can become extremely important for entire lives. They also show those who are ready to make their own sacrifices, trying to save those who have suffered. You can go on indefinitely, but no review can convey the nerve, the horrors, the anger, the despair, the hope and the warmth that are in this picture and in the people who were able to rally and resist the horror. You should see this picture yourself in order to evaluate the work of the film crew and learn one of the most terrible pages of human history.

"Earthquake" is not only an impressive story about a natural disaster, but also about human resilience, compassion and hope. This film shows how even in the darkest moments you can find light and support in each other. Andreasyan's painting is a worthy and emotional work that deserves the attention and respect of the audience. She reminds us of the importance of remembering such tragedies and learning from them in order to be more prepared for such trials in the future. Although, to be realistic, you can never prepare for such a thing. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't try.

    10 out of 10.
