A former British solder speaks of the horrors of mechanised warfare. No British solder was on the receiving end of such warfare before 1914.

He had served in the Boer War, where the Boers used guerrilla tactics.

He might plausibly have been guilty over the deaths of women and children in the Concentration Camps the British used. But these are never mentioned.
