Halloween Baking Championship

I don't know where you find these contestants or what you're going for but every season gets more and more ridiculous. I wish you'd get back to a more realistic, serious competition. Most of these people can't bake and are more interested in being a tv spectacle than participating in a serious cooking competition. The blond girl you had on the show this season was a perfect example.

My wife and I loved watching this show, until the latest season (11). The constant crying, whining and temper tantrums by the blonde lady is like nails on a chalkboard. I don't know what else is going on in the show because she is constantly taking all the attention! And it seems the judges always take it easy on her, they had to bake a scary cake and she made a happy toaster, they said nothing to her about that, the rest of the people they pinged them on that.

I have been watching this program for the past year and this year and it seems to be a Halloween tradition around Halloween it is very educational to watch you can learn a lot about how to bake and even get some ideas for your own Halloween treats all of the contestants are very like able as is john Henson ;this seasons host ;and the judges are mostly nice as well but honest and fair at the same time I am glad they changed the host this season Jeff Dunam had a very bad habit of cursing on the show and this is very family friendly show I love it and thank God for it I say if your looking to get festive this is a perfect way to start prepping for halloween

I've watched this show every season for countless years. But if they stick with this new format, it will be my last! I just want to watch creative baking, NOT manufactured drama that is beyond cringe. I don't care about the wackadoodle contestants lives and wish I could edit out every tantrum, tear, lame joke, and the literal peanut gallery that plagues this once simple, unfussy show. I think John Henson is a hoot, but even he seems to be internally embarrassed to be on this season. It's like his personality had to take a back seat so the contestants could stand out, but no one is worthy of the spotlight. Everything I've enjoyed about this show is just... gone. Even the judges seem to be going easy on critiques and overboard on the compliments. I hope and pray someone at Food Network is regretting this decision and returns this show to it's former silly glory.

I started watching this with my family cause we thought it would be fun and cool to watch, since it's nearing halloween. We were wrong. The funniest thing about it is the decorating. It's a halloween BAKING CHAMPIONSHIP. They should know how to decorate a cake better than they did. There were cracks in fondant, and the cakes were overall ugly. To top it all off one of them literally had raw pie crust. The judges don't even say anything about it either. Only if they don't enjoy something taste wise. They just don't judge as hardcore as you would expect. I'd rather watch halloween wars which is far more entertaining.
