WOW! This is true top level Star Wars magic!

The previous episode was wonderful and already lifted Rebels to great standards worthy of standing alongside any of the movies but this is absolutely majestic. This is a MASTERPIECE!

Enthralling and exhilerating action. Dark, thrilling storytelling. Heartbreaking and powerful connection to Anakin and Ahsoka's incredible storylines. Startlingly awesome dialogue and ideas all brought together with top class acting, inspiring music and beautiful animation.

Ezra's story takes on new levels of depth as does Kanan's. It really is massively engaging and takes their characters to new levels.

The reintroduction of Maul is stunning. The voice performance is perfect and his action is terrific. This also builds on his already tremendous arc.

The Inquisitors also get some great action and overall the level of the lightsaber duels is up with the epic movie level.

The best of all is Vader's entrance into proceeding, his face off with Ezra and then the gutwrenchingly emotional face to face with Ahsoka.

Ahsoka's own journey is storytelling at its best let alone what it adds to Anakin's story. It makes Anakin even more the greatest of characters you could get. The arc through Clone Wars and Rebels is unmissable and adds layers which are utterly heart rending. I had tears in my eyes watching these scenes!

    Pure quality, pure genius!

My rating 10/10 does not even do this justice.

    Star Wars Perfection!!!!

This might be some of the greatest Star Wars work since the original trilogy and that's counting the newer things like Mandolorian and Bob Fett. Absolute perfection!!

Epic face offs and edge of your seat action but with purpose and heart to drive the story tying everything together in an absolute flawless way.

    Phenomenal would be an understatement!!!!!!

Wow Wow WOW it gave me chills and everything was just so good I started watching star wars in mid 2020 I watched Everything at that time except for rebels. A Friend forced me to watch this and boy was I wrong about the show. The show is good but this episode JUST TOO GOOD.

    Incredible

C'mon. What's more cooler than Darth Vader standing on top his fighter with his burning lightsaber to strike down a jedi. Nothing. Darth Vader's return is spectacular. Even if he's got a cameo role in an episode, that episode is going to be special. Because that's the fame of that character. His suit, his menacing voice, his rage, his darkness and every other aspect is outstanding. Furthermore, the confrontation of Star Wars' most attached characters in terms of compassion and chemistry as the master and the apprentice. Ahsoka & Anakin. The long awaited meeting, Dave Filoni made it so special that tempts us to rewatch it over and over again. One of the best episode in Star Wars.

    All Hail Dave Filoni!!

Dave never fails to deliver Star Wars greatness. This is an example of that. This episode thrives on every level, with a nice plot and EXTREMELY thrilling action scenes (won't spoil). Best episode of Rebels hands down.

    • Trivia
During production of the second season, the two new inquisitors were only referred to as 'Female Inquisitor' and 'Male Inquisitor' in the scripts. The introduction of a fourth member of their order in the finale served to finally established a naming convention for them, identifying the female as the Seventh Sister, the male as the Fifth Brother and the latest one as the Eighth Brother.

Ashoka Tano: It wouldn't be the first time.

Darth Vader: It was foretold that you would be here. Our long awaited meeting has come at last.

Ashoka Tano: I'm glad I gave you something to look forward to.

Darth Vader: We need not be adversaries. The Emperor will show you mercy, if you tell me where the remaining Jedi can be found.

Ashoka Tano: There are no more Jedi. You and your Inquisitors have seen to that.

Darth Vader: Perhaps this child will divulge what you will not.

Ashoka Tano: I thought I know who you were under that mask. But it's impossible. My master could never be so vile.

Darth Vader: Anakin Skywalker was weak. I destroyed him.

Ashoka Tano: Then I will avenge his death.

Darth Vader: Revenge is not the Jedi way.
