Fishbowl California

For fans of Judd Apatow and Greta Gerwig style dramedy - this is a sweet, little indie gem with lots going for it. Tons of nice little moments and performances. Take a chance on an unknown - it'll surprise you.

Quite bad acting from the main guy, boring with bad jokes. I can't understand the stellar reviews from others. 10/10 giving to it looks like others haven't seen other movie than this one. Then again people have a different taste, maybe you'll like it. My wife and I did not.

PS ok the black guy and old lady were good acts.

Not Great by any stretch but the humor was top notch. The main actor did a good job playing a very real, modern entitled loser. The plot is plain so it relies on the dialogue which is fun- but that's it. Basic Hollywood Rags to Whatever... gets the girl, gets even, no thriller, no twist but slow, don't worry if you need to pee fun... It's like Larry David's son-in-law was given an opportunity and a small bag of money and he hit a two bagger. I liked it but I wish I had my 120 minutes back.

As a person that have family members who have suffered through illnesses and horrible family issues. I love the way this movie dealt with those issues, showed the lead female character vulnerability even when she wanted everyone else to think she was not as kind as she really was. I loved that the main male character was funny and showed the progression of a slob, down on his luck guy to a great responsible man at the end of the movie.

Great job!!!

There is nothing to boast,but if you want to spend 90 minutes,just watch.A little movie which make us happy.
