Lieutenant Linda Tanner: I can tell you're surprised by Detective Furey's absence.
Spencer Hastings: No, it just seemed sudden, that's all.
Lieutenant Linda Tanner: Did it? My understanding is he was a good cop, but that here in Rosewood he seemed... distracted. Does that seem like a fair characterization?
Spencer Hastings: [shrugging gesture] I really couldn't say.
Lieutenant Linda Tanner: Nothing in your relationship led you to believe that he was conflicted in his approach to solving the murder of Archer Dunhill?
Spencer Hastings: [earnestly] No.
Lieutenant Linda Tanner: [comes to sit right in front of Spencer, whispering:] Furey told me everything, Ms. Hastings. From barstools to ping-pong... right before he took himself... off the case.
[Spencer avoids eye contact]
Lieutenant Linda Tanner: I'm giving you a chance to tell the truth.
[nods]
Lieutenant Linda Tanner: Oh, but I guess
[sighs]
Lieutenant Linda Tanner: old habits die hard. I am impressed by how well you played him. But then again, I remember how adept you and your friends are at that sort of thing.
Spencer Hastings: That's not fair.
Lieutenant Linda Tanner: Oh, fair is overrated. Truth is what counts.

Hanna Marin: [re her mother] I could have climbed through a window and she would have found me
Emily Fields: Hey, she gave us a room to hang out in until we can go back to our homes.
Hanna Marin: Yeah, I know. Who ever thought I'd feel bad about getting a free suite. The world's upside down.
Spencer Hastings: Speaking of which, I got us all these until we get our real phones back.
[hands over outdated old cellphones]
Hanna Marin: This makes me really wanna go to jail.
Alison DiLaurentis: What are we doing to stay out of jail?
Hanna Marin: Has anyone heard from Aria?
Spencer Hastings: No. Because she doesn't have one of these.
Emily Fields: Okay, guys, I know we all woke up early and we're cranky, but let's stay focused. I'm as freaked out as the rest of you. Maybe even more, considering it looks like A.D. was watching Ali and me sleep last night.
[has everybody's attention]
Hanna Marin: So, are you two...?
[both lovers blush]
Hanna Marin: Well. About time.

Lieutenant Linda Tanner: [Interrogation] There's quite a lot of Radley Hotel video from the night Mr. Dunhill disappeared. Did you know that they even have a camera in the elevator?
Spencer Hastings: We get it. There's lots of evidence. And there's probably more to come, but the question is, why are you telling us this?
Lieutenant Linda Tanner: I thought it was obvious. I am giving you a chance to tell your side of the story before my side becomes the only side.
Spencer Hastings: You were the one who rescued us five years ago.
Lieutenant Linda Tanner: That's because you wouldn't tell me the truth and you ended up in an underground bunker. So, why don't you let me help you now?
Spencer Hastings: Are we done here?
Lieutenant Linda Tanner: [nods] For now. Hmm-mm.

Hanna Marin: [staring at the countdown] Time is stupid.
Spencer Hastings: [sarcastic] That's my favorite thing that you've ever said.
Hanna Marin: How is it that after everything we've gone through, one or all of us is about to go to jail?
Emily Fields: This time around it is kind of special.
[softly:]
Emily Fields: I mean, we did kill a guy.
Hanna Marin: Did anyone notice anything different about Mona this morning?
Alison DiLaurentis: She's Mona. Different's in her job description.
Hanna Marin: I guess.
