Randeep Hooda impresses with his villainous act in this 'blood theft' saga!
Randeep Hooda plays a Haryanvi ruffian who runs an illegal blood bank, but is like a messiah for the poor and needy. He's shrewd, he's cunning and he's dangerous. He did more than 30 movies since now, every time He is Fabulous. His acting stuns you. His acting is very genuine. I like him act as a villain in more movies, because he is so good at it, and even he acts as a villain but you will love his acting because of his mind blowing acting. Whenever I see his eyes during his acting, Oh my God they are like that He is acting in front of you, and you are watching some reality not a movie. No matter what role, He always fits in and gives his best shot with his amazing dialogue delivery, style and husky voice.
Laal Rang's screenplay is excellent, But also credit goes to the cinematography, realistic sets and the formidable talent of the supporting actors – portraying blood donors, corrupt officials and crooked doctors. Rare to find a well written movie with clear concept in Hindi Cinema these days.
Such an awesome movie, You Should Watch it!

Such an awesome movie, You Should Watch it!
The trailer in itself is so gripping and i decided that i will watch the movie once it gets released. The movie will keep you glued to your seats throughout. Awesome acting by Randeep Hooda and perfect justice giving haryanvi role to a haryanvi guy and he has fulfilled it to perfection. It has some real intense moments and show how the blood racket runs throughout and even if someone is running they cant be just crazy for making money but ensure that they do it wisely. I believe Randeep is often underrated and if he keeps on doing these roles he will be a legend soon. Must watch if you want to see some serious content and acting.
Good movie.. nice story and great dialogues..
Simple, realistic and yet great with good performances by the actors. A must watch.. Randeep Hooda is outstanding.. Frankly, I didn't have much expectation from this flick, but it came to be pretty gripping. The movie is built around the Blood selling racket thriving in Haryana in 2002. I think the name and the central theme is a kind of a turn off for a movie goer in India. That becomes a kind of a deal breaker or road block for good cinema. But, in my opinion, the focus should be decided in advance like any strategy. 1. To be seen my as many people as possible or 2. To be entered in film festivals or 3. To be known as art cinema or 4. You don't care about anyone..and its just a canvas to showcase your skills.
I think whatever is the message, it will be successful only if seen by maximum people. So, keeping that in mind, the messaging shouldn't have been built around the blood racket the racket should have been a side effect of the movie. Yes, I know that sounds kinda ridiculous. But, pls understand the mental motivation of the typical Indian masses who go to watch cinema .its escapist. So, if the title was made more attractive and the focus was on another point in the movie I think it would have had a chance at better success.
If you notice most happier, funnier sounding titles tend to improve the chances of the movie being seen by a higher percentage. And once they sat through the first 20mins .they would have been too involved.
Randeep Hooda has hacked the Bollywood code! And I kinda liked the dark humor very unbollywood nice twist to it.
Catch it, if you are in the mood for some serious content and acting.
One of the good movies coming out of Bollywood this year, though not a big budget shooter . Laal Rang is a crackling entertainer.

This can easily be given a CULT status.. no stone left unturned when it comes to story, acting, direction, script... and what a performance by some underdogs of Bollywood especially Randeep Hooda...He nailed it bit by bit..A must watch (only if you know what real cinema is) 😊😊. Every frame of this movie will keep you in aw. Being from Haryana I can feel and smell the real essence of Haryana...and who can forget the love for RX100 in those days.
The movie was quite straight in the story line but the way it describes the incidents. It depicts the characters- Shankar, Rajesh, Poonam, Raashi and Gajraj Singh. The choice of locations did justice with the script. The movie was a low budget but the characters, songs and direction by Syed was at par with big budget movies. The film aptly describes the circumstances which were prevailing in Karnal at that time. Overall, it was successful attempt by Syed and the protagonist (Randeep Hooda) reflected the true character of Haryanvi lad. Rajneish Duggal at the same time provided the glimpse of an honest cop who was hell bent to unearth the syndicate and punish the culprits.
