It is decided that Eros must be destroyed or immobilized or protected from penetration by others. So it is decided that it will be blasted by the Nauvoo, which is being taken away from the Mormons against their will. But there is a fly in the ointment when they realize that others are aware that something is going on on Eros. The final several minutes are really quite exciting. Once again, the characters and events are extremely well crafted.

Greetings from Lithuania.
"Godspeed" was one of the most involving, superbly crafted episode yet. Special effects were great as well the story with surprises lurking around every corner. The story itself which i found to be the best thing about this good show overall is getting more and more intriguing and i really looking forward to find out what is happening at Eros as well as what is this "thing" in general.
Overall, forth episode in a season 2 was simply great. Superbly involving with first rate production and acting. This is a sci-fi at its best.

- TriviaThe temple/starship Nauvoo has a golden, trumpet blowing angel on the front end. This is generally agreed to be the angel Moroni (possibly Nephi) who either wrote the first of the golden plates, wrote the last plate, or guarded the golden plates while they were buried. All of the better Mormon temples have one. The first Moroni temple topper was at Nauvoo, Illinois in the 1840s.
- GoofsWhen Miller is positioning the can of explosive, he is clearly lifting a very heavy object. But the whole scene is set in zero gravity (or less, considering Eros is spinning). He and Diogo are using magnetic boots and tethers to avoid flying away. The bomb should be "weightless".
Objects in zero gravity still have a mass and moving them requires the overcoming of inertia (the tendency of a stationery object to remain stationery), even in zero g inertia is proportional to mass and a heavy object still requires greater force to move.
