Gul-E-Rana's wins an award and her and her family celebrate. Abdul Aziz, Gul-E-Rana's father, gets a call from his brother, Kamal Ahmed, to come and work with him.

Shahida, Kamal's wife and Adeel's step-mother, tells Adeel to get married to one of his cousins, Maria or Laila. Kamal, at the dinner table, tells his sisters of the passing of their brother.

Kamal Ahmed takes his nieces and sister-in-law to Karachi to live with him. At night, Gul-E-Rana goes to get a drink and sees Adeel for the first time. Thinking he is an intruder, she starts screaming.

Jazba aapi thinks that Gul-E-Rana is a threat towards her daughter, so advises Maria to go to her uncles house often to be in Adeel's sights.

Zaffri and Maria make plans to take Gul-E-Rana out for ice cream, but Adeel comes back from work and explains to Zaffri that he can take whoever he wants to except Gul-E-Rana.

Adeel, whilst out clubbing, tells his friend that he's found himself the perfect wife. At Maria's birthday party, Jazba aapi announces that she would like to make Gul-E-Rana her daughter-in-law.

Adeel and his father go to Jazba aapi's house to discuss the marriage proposal. Adeel tells his step-mother that he has made the decision to get married.

Because Gul-E-Rana rejected Adeel's marriage proposal, Adeel lures her out of the house under false pretences, and forces her to get married to him.

Adeel has forbidden Gul-E-Rana from going to college, but regardless she still attends. He despises her cousin, Ashar, and warns Gul-e-Rana that if he visits again whatever he does will be on her head. Adeel's father gives him the green light to move to Islamabad for work.

Muneera, thinks that Gul-e-Rana is not giving Adeel the attention he deserves. Whilst Adeel and Maria are out, Gul-e-Rana plots a plan.

After faking that he's ill, Kamal Ahmed sends Gul-e-Rana to Islamabad to take care of Adeel. At night, Adeel gets a phone call from one of his girlfriends, Mona, and she comes to stay the night.

Adeel puts Gul-e-Rana in a predicament after he accuses her talking to men on the phone in front of Kamal Ahmed.

Kamal Ahmed and Gul-e-Rana make plans to go out for the day, Adeel, who tries his best to tag along, tells his father that Gul-e-Rana talks about divorcing him.

Kamal Ahmed makes the decision to return to Karachi without taking Gul-e-Rana as planned. Adeel, in vain, locks Gul-e-Rana out of the house when he finds out that a stranger brought her home.

After finding out Gul-e-Rana returned to Karachi without informing him, a panicking Adeel demands Maria to return as well as it's inappropriate for her to remain in Islamabad with him alone.

Kamal Ahmed comes back to Islamabad and demands the servants to tell him what's been happening. Maria tells Kamal Ahmed that Adeel asked her to come to Islamabad and that he promised her her hand in marriage. Adeel reciprocates against Maria leading him getting slapped by his father.

Gul-e-Rana tells Ashar everything that has happened between her and Adeel. Kamal Ahmed threatens to remove Adeel from the will unless he marries Maria.

Adeel, realising he has no way out of getting married to Maria, flees to Islamabad. Whilst driving, Adeel is met with an accident, and his father quickly come to his aid. After a while he returns to Karachi and begs Gul-e-Rana to go and take care of him as he is in need of her.

Gul-e-Rana takes care of Adeel making sure that he takes his food and medicines on time. Umar, the guy that dropped Gul-e-Rana off at home once, comes to meet Adeel and to see if they are in need of anything.

As Adeel was sleeping the last time Umar came, he decides to visit again. Adeel tells Gul-e-Rana that he does not like Umar, and doesn't want to see him again. Adeel then says a snide comment to Gul-e-Rana to which he straightaway regrets. Ashar comes to meet Adeel and tells him something that Gul-e-Rana has no knowledge about.

Adeel's feelings towards Gul-e-Rana day by day start to change, and he stops being harsh to her. One of Adeel's friends stop by and he introduces his wife to her, and proclaims that their marriage was a love marriage. Gul-e-Rana gets a devastating phone call from home which leaves her in tears.
