Tum Bin II

The first 50 minutes? Well, Bollywood must learn to do away with the melodramatic crap. Dragging the unwanted and monotonous scenes with sad background music and absurd dialogue for too long too often makes one question the level of Directors. This movie could be far better made.

It was a letdown! The lead actors' performances were poor no real emotion at all. Neha Sharma's acting felt too artificial. The plot was okay, nothing great. What really threw me off was the start. Seriously, three songs back to back? It felt more like a music video than a film. The direction wasn't impressive either; everything felt rushed and flat. Personally, I found the film dull and emotionally disconnected. It had potential, but poor execution ruined it. Even the emotional moments didn't land well, and the chemistry between the characters felt forced. The film tries to be deep but ends up feeling hollow and stretched. Not worth a rewatch.

The best part of this movie is location and music. Anubhav Sinha wanted to recreate the magic of his 2001 surprise hit but failed. Story is very much familiar. Acting of the lead characters are not convincing.

Main drawback of Tum Bin 2 is bad characterization of the leads and plot. Their was a boldness in Pia (Sandali Sinha) and maturity in Shekhar (Priyanshu), which is missing in Tum Bin 2 and I personally missed Mili's (Amrita) character.

Neha Sharma looks beautiful, as always. Ashim & Aditya needs to learn a lot. Sandali Sinha appearance was surprising. There is additional treat of Jagjit Singh's voice that joins Rekha Bhardwaj.

VERDICT: No can create the magic of Tum Bin(2001) again, not even Anubhav Sinha.

This is such a beautiful movie, stop comparing it with tum bin that is classic any who. I wasn't expecting such low IMDb ratings it's just coz the comparison.. but if you ask me I absolutely love this movie and can Watch it more.. director didn't failed to make us feel the characters, the locations, omg songs, and dialogues are absolutely exquisite..

If you like love stories, you will love this movie!! Don't let the bad ratings tell you otherwise, in my opinion it was a great movie!!
