Paul Boring lives up to his name.

Film is pure boring. Don't bother. Even the writer is called Paul Boring. Fitting.

Walking out is the best choice

I sat through the first 40 minutes of this film, getting more exasperated at the on-the-nose dialog and the mediocre acting. By the time Tom/Thomas meets his two female companions without reason for hanging together, I decided it was time for me to leave.

I don't believe that a reputable university film program would allow this film to pass as a junior project. If it were to be awarded production, at least one more rewrite would be necessary to clarify the points without banging the audience with direct explanations.

Looks to be a great film

The premise of the film is extremely relatable, I'm sure most people have been in a situation where they are the odd one out. Bullying is such a relevant topic for this age -- we see more and more children being harmed not only by real life bullies, but on the internet as well. The beautiful thing about life and the world is that there's someone for everyone out there, as the soul was made in pairs. As someone still looking for his pair, it's good to find inspiring films in such a negative world. I also think it's really good to see a story about people that don't look like they just came out of a magazine. James Choi is excellent to work with, knowledgeable and a talented filmmaker. Peace, love, and blessings for the film.

I wish they had a bigger budget!

After watching this movie, I did some research and found that they only had a budget of $8,000, it makes sense that they weren't able to provide more content and back story. Acting is not as bad as other users have said. They are young actors, but still very talented.

Empty Space Not At All Empty

After watching this film, I was reminded of a quote from the film Wall Street, which states- "Man looks into the abyss. There's nothing staring back at him. At that moment, man finds his character. And, that is what keeps him out of the abyss."

It's not easy to keep ones' spirit buoyant in life, no matter who you are, or what your story is, as each of us is tested in different ways at different times. Each actor/actress in the film performed fluidly and brought their respective characters to life with imagination. By the end of the film, I felt that each character was in a better place from which they could springboard into the future. Lily had to be my favorite character overall. Her positive energy radiated from her, and she added a very meaningful element to the film, in my opinion.
