Selina and team goes to Georgia to oversee their elections. Both the leaders try to outdo each other in supporting Selina's presendential library.
Mike can't get a hotel room. Gary and Mike end up voting by mistake.
Minna ends up their to supervise the elections as well. It is one big party.
Famous dialogue.
Selina to a soldier:Do you have any water that does not come from nuclear power plant by any chance?
Soldier: Yes Vodka
Selina to Doyle: you have a doctrine now? What is it, "Boners are rare, don't waste them?"

Nobody loves the satire aspects of the show more than me but there is always a line you can not cross, for this episode it is portraying Georgians like Russians with their names, accents, what they're speaking about etc. I absolutely love this show but this episode was horribly written and the jokes were not funny. As soemone who experienced first hand the russia invading and bombing georgia watching this terribly written episode feels like a slap in the face. There have been plenty foreign/ western shows. Movies and etc, that have portrayed Georgia and it's people in the same genre as this show and they have done it better because when the writers actually do the bare minimum research they write better jokes, better scenes etc.
"Georgia" was written by Billy Kimball and directed by Becky Martin. Billy Kimball and Becky Martin, you must be really proud of your creation. Nikolai (?), you can't come up with better name for Georgian presidential candidate? Why not Zbigniew or Henry? Why did not you use matryoshkas or play Kalinka to better describe the spirit of Georgia? If your brain can not comprehend that Georgia is not Russia, you should not be doing what you are doing.
Why is always so, for Americans every post Soviet country is associated with Russia.
Georgian police has different uniforms from Russian and in Georgia weather is not cold as in Russia, so police do not ware furry hats like in Russia.
Georgians has never eaten horses, again you are mistaken with another nation.
Again Nikolai is Russian name, Georgian equivalent is Nikoloz.
The temperature in Finland is lower than in Georgia. So Minna Häkkinen wearing the furry hat in Georgia is really ridiculous.
You could pay more attention to make episode more authentic.
Positive side, Georgian words were correct and not gibberish like in other American movies and tv shows.

As an American, my daughter lived in Tiblisi, Georgia. It is a beautiful, progressive, clean, forward country! To see it portrayed this way, is disgusting...not funny in the least.
My daughter was treated with kindness and always felt safe. Georgians are warm, friendly, proud, strong people. Their country is picturesque with a modern city scape and rugged mountains. Georgian wine and food is amazing too!
I zoom 2X week with a local woman. She was born and raised in Tiblisi. In addition to my daughter, she is the most generous, smartest, hard working, kindest person I know. I can only hope she never sees this episode.
I'm late in the game of watching Veep, just now watching and up until this episode, have enjoyed its snarky, quick witted humor. However, after watching the blatant disrespect shown to Georgians , I'm done.
Shame on you writers, do a little research first.
