    nice surprise, i liked it

Took me a while before I watched this one because just see the low ratings. really, I loved it and I even found it one of the better horrors of 2016. I agree, it isn't going to be for everyone.

Therefor you really must dig a bit of arty camera-work and editing but if you can pass that you are into a flick that gives you more horror then you expected. You can watch it as a straight horror or you can watch it like it's all about schizophrenia. If you do so there's more to catch. The problem is that I can't say too much about the story but it did work for me. And yes, some scene's are a rip- off of those Asian flicks like the black hair coming out of the mouth but towards the end the gore comes in.

Let Her Out, the title does says it all, was a nice surprise and it really cut into my flesh. Recommend it to all geeks.

What is inside you just wants to come out...

"Let Her Out" caught my attention with two things; the first and most prominent thing was that it is a horror movie, of course. And the second thing was that the synopsis for the storyline seemed interesting and it could actually be a great movie.

I will say that I didn't really find this 2016 horror movie to be a particular masterwork piece within the horror genre. While the story was entertaining enough for what it was, then the movie was just suffering from being overly predictable and actually also being way too generic - leaning way too much up against many other horror movies. So it other words, it lacks originality.

There are some good enough moments throughout the course of "Let Her Out", mostly being the jump scares, but also the acting should be praised here. Alanna LeVierge really did carry the movie quite well with her performance as Helen.

"Let Her Out" is hardly a movie that will scare you out of your wits, but there are some creepy and spooky enough moments here and there to make it worthwhile to sit through the entire movie. However, "Let Her Out" just wasn't an outstanding or particularly memorable movie.

Nicely filmed and equally nicely edited, there is something oddly appealing about the movie in a strange way. And there are some rather interesting and somewhat disturbing visual scenes that were quite nice, and that was a definite boost in the right direction. Just a shame that the overall picture was so predictable and generic.

Helen's fall into madness was interesting enough, but the movie just didn't fully have what it took to be outstanding. But when the transformation scene took place, it just went down the drain so fast. While it looked nice and had great special effects, it was just, and let's be blunt here, too much!

This is hardly the type of movie that you will watch more than once, because the story doesn't have enough contents to sustain more than a single viewing.

My rating of "Let Her Out" settles on a 5 out of 10 stars. While "Let Her Out" certainly is entertaining enough for a single viewing, there are far better horror movies out there.

What a horribly paced and horrible acted pile of garbage. AVOID!

I try so hard to give movies the benefit of the doubt, I really do. But movies like these just test my patience by failing in almost every possible regard. Everything from the grade school script and amateur directorial style, to the stulted and hilarious "acting" and poor pacing make this movie an absolute chore to get through. But what exactly happened?

Not a single person involved in this stopped to ask themselves, "Is this movie actually good?" or "Is what we are making entertaining?". I bet not a single person in that production company could be certain of the answers to either of those questions. So of course we end up with such an anemic script, such poor pacing, and such laughable acting. It's like there was no quality control.

The movie wasn't scary for the first hour or so, and then it was a bit entertaining and then it ended. It was a horror movie for a solid 10 minutes and then it was over. The rest was filler, decent gore that was hidden by poor angles, and a lot of fake blood splattered all over the place. But that alone does not a horror movie make. It just goes to show that some people really view the horror genre as the dumping grounds for the worst that cinema has to offer, and it's really a shame.

Aside for some bang up special effects work and some quality blood splatter, this movie was pointless, boring and tame (even when you consider just how graphic some of it is). These people need to learn that when you make a movie like this, you either go big or go home. Cut someone's salary and up the SFX budget. If your story and acting sucks, might as well pump your money into the only department that is actually getting anything done.

Avoid this movie like you broke the law and are hiding from the cops.

    Good story but bad execution..!

A girl suffers from multipersonality disorder but soon she realized that she haunted by her twin sister...and she killed some of them because of her haunted sister...finally she got out of her.. Nice concept but bad screenplay.. Boring to watch even photography is good... Once watchable movie..!

    It's alright

I wasn't expecting much given some of the reviews on here but this is a pretty entertaining film.

Yes it's not original. Yeah it reuses a load of ideas and I felt like i had seen this before but there's a bit of body horror, a bit of gore and a few jump scares.

Not the greatest horror film ever made but no way near as bad as some of the reviews. Worth watching.

      Helen: I'm not.

Helen 2: Then what are we doing here?

      Helen: This is the end.

      Helen 2: For you.

Helen 2: She was a whore.

      Helen: Stop!

Helen 2: She tried to kill me, but I hid, inside you. I kept you alive. All these years, with you, with your shit-stained waste of a life.
