This movie is unratable.
This movie was a trip. I watched it years ago at Italian school. The previous lesson I missed, where the first movie in the saga was shown. Without the context, this spectacle of a movie challenged my strength, my sanity, and my humour. This film, had me on the floor. The stuff that goes down in the plot is absolutely wild. Watching without the subtitles just add to the whole experience. Some of the scenes, cliches and just general direction in general is something so extraterrestrial, it's hard to describe.
Honestly, it's worth a watch, simply because of how bad it is.

Lost all of the charm that the first film had.
I definitely think that the time gap between these films hurt it a bit. Other than the kids drinking booze, it feels like nobody has progressed at all since the last film. Worse yet, it feels like the small degree of character development that had happened in the last film was abandoned, just so that they could have pointless teen conflict again.
Part of the charm of the first film was how comparatively low stakes the whole thing was when compared to most superhero films. There was very little power use and the main drive of the main character was simply to rescue the girl that he fancied from being kidnapped. Yeah, there was other stuff going on, but that was the crux of it.
I appreciate that certain aspects of this film were set up at the end of the previous film, but this film upscales everything way too far. The villain's plan is just plain stupid. And given that it is primarily motivated by getting revenge on one man... why plot to kill thousands of people? It was just so stupidly over the top.
The acting also seems to have nose dived since the first film. Which is odd considering that most of the cast from the first film returned. How most of them ended up worse is beyond me. The best actor in the film seems to be the youngest cast member, who was only a little girl in the first film. Don't get me wrong, the acting in the first film wasn't exactly Oscar worthy... but there are so many moments in this film that are just terrible.
On the plus side, various filming locations are genuinely very pretty and the soundtrack is really fun.

An honest sequel
Italian public is not really used to appreciate or understand superheroes movies. Even more so if the setting is an Italian one.
Recently Invisible Boy and They call me Jeeg demonstrated that a low budget Italian style superhero movie can be realized and can be both compelling and definitely Italian in the general mood.
Now Invisible Boy II has better special effects and a simple though effective plot. Nothing crazy special but coherent and solid, also with regard with the previous movie. Side characters are a bit generic but the main ones are quite good.
Don't expect a masterpiece but it's enough entertaining time to spend.

Trash
This movie is just waste of time ,from bad acting to bad script
and those hero customs looks ridiculous
be your own hero and save yourself from this movie
a missed opportunity
So where did it happen with the film The Invisible Boys they really decided to create a sequel I want to tell you that I'm Italian so I judge it as an Italian film So I was very much expecting this film given that I liked the first film a lot and that was ittruly the proof and we Italians can make good superhero films made leaving those of others it's really incredible that this film really disappointed me I had really good chances of this sequel I swear this film has a lot of problems problems thatI can't even shoot But I tell you that the things I liked were the setting and the special effects but everything else is negative. For example, they put too many things into the story. Oh, for example, there's the mystery of the mother. And then afterwards there is a family resemblanceafter hourly divorce Oh my God but where is this story going then the characters he Baldo of acting So in the previous films he was okay but in this sequel the acting is really bad I swear because there isn't even one good actor Especially those of the more actorsyoung people are even much worse. So I'll tell you something. If in the first one I didn't really complain about the children about his bad acting, however the actor who plays Michele in this film acts much worse as he didn't do before but now we pay. Michele is really a programmer. Poorly developed and not Forget the title of the film or the invisible boy with hair his visibility only uses it a few times and uses that other power Sorry but then what's the point of the title then the character of his real sister could have been developed much better like character But thebad That is, his real mother seems like a bad copy of Magneto box office so it just fell flat.but it is much better than other bad Italian films because there are some that are truly unwatchable to conclude with a rating of 5.5.
