Both on their YouTube channel, ADVChina -- as well as on their individual channels -- Winston (SerpentZA) and Matt (Laowhy86) share their experiences in China as residents of the country. However, this outstanding documentary takes them well outside even their comfort zones.
Watch as they travel through Southern China, both in cities but also in heavily rural areas. There, they show what it's like meeting the local population and taking part in their everyday lives. Each episode brings humor, education, and yes, sometimes cringe together with beautiful scenery for an excellent glimpse into an area most Westerners will never see.

One of the most captivating and in depth perspectives on exploring China
Winston and C-Milk / Matt, 2 best friends who met over in China, decided to co-video blog their experiences on Youtube. This then lead to the Conquering Northern China series being made.
If you would like to get to tour a country from the confines of your armchair, this is the way to do it. You will get a sublime experience from westeners who have settled in China, learnt the language, the history, the laws, the culture, not to mention a good understanding of the regional areas. They have a fantastic knowledge base and are very respectful to all those whom they encounter on their journey.
You will greatly enjoy this and most definitely will learn a lot.

Amazing work. Very enjoyable and entertaining watching pure honesty about exploring an exotic and distant locale'. Having been to various regions around China myself, it was very refreshing to see these two exploring the uniqueness of China. Every episode, although succinct stood alone very well and as a whole the series was great. Keep up the quality effort fella's. Looking forward to your further adventure and unique storytelling.
