    Honestly sometimes rewarded

It's one of the nearly perfect films. From the very beginning to the end. Slightly long and dragged but passable only for the screenplay, acting, and everything. A full time drama and comedy. Vijay Sethupathi is just great. Yogi Babu, Nassar, Hareesh Peradi also did well. Except Pooja Devariya, everyone did very well. Manikandan, the director, made Kuttrame Thandanai (2016) is one of my favorite films. He is very talented.

Pappu and his friend come to the city to make their dream done, going to London to upside down their bad luck in the village they come from. Leaving their family and the villagers in mislead. Their fortune turned down when Pappu can't make things done whereas his friend can. However, Pappu is not going back his village anymore and he must to get a chance again next time. Things getting worse when Pappu can't make his passport correction, in a dilemma either correct the passport or his entire life.

Recommended. A little bit long but the time is worth.

Case against middlemen fraudsters with fresh tasteful sarcasm and optimism

Dry sarcasm presents so much humor all through the movie. But the positive spirit of the movie brought out in the way the movie ended was the best part.

Vijay Sethupathi, Nassar, Yogi Babu as well as the other lesser known artists have all performed very naturally.

Many unpredictable twists and turns in the movie to keep the viewer interested. Humor to keep the movie light. But at the same time, serious threads to drive home the message.

Amazing watch with a very relevant social message.

    VJS once again nails it

Aandavan Katalai is a very fun and good movie to watch. It revolves around how Gandhi (VJS) and Pandi(Yogi Babu) get a tourist visa to go to London and what are the obstacles they face during this process. The first half of the movie is very fun to watch and both the actors nailed it with comedy and things seems like going smooth for both of these guys. The movie actually shows it's true face in the second half of the movie which shows how VJS struggles to get a passport. Overall it's a great movie to watch.

    Lovable movie with great message

One more amazing movie from Vijay Sethupathi thru Manikandan. Simply amazed to see the plot that flashes - Srilankan Tamilian's struggle (mildly) - Illegal Visa agents & the victims - Common man's struggle in life for Money - Chennaites, house owners unrealistic renting demands(loll) - Divorce cases.Wondering how beautifully a cinema can be made to share as many social problems, but in a very interesting way that every audience will enjoy & capture the social message. Vijay Sethupathi, unlike other regular Heroes, he shares the screen equally with all artists. Yogi Babu added a great sense of humor. Ritika - wow a very lovable girl to see in this movie , who acted very aptly to the role.Had a hard feeling on Srilankan Tamil's setback in this society & their struggles. Tamil Cinema has got so many good young Directors who are driving this Tamil industry to the next level. Hats-off to Manikandan's effort. Simply superb...Love to see one more movie starring Vijay Sethupati & lovely Rithika Singh....... Tamil Cinema ROCKS.
