This show keeps getting better and better. the story keep moving forward as some collided together. The Ending again make you scream.
One of the Best Episodes
Hopper is trapped in the tunnels and can not find anyway out since the hole he made has been covered by wines. Meanwhile Jonathan and Nancy seek out Murray´s home to disclose the truth about Barb using also the tape recorder. Lucas tells to Max what happened to Will when he vanished, but she does not believe in his words. Bob comes to Joyce´s home and notes that Will´s drawings are indeed a map of Hawkins and they find Hopper´s whereabouts. Dustin traps Dart that has grown up in the basement and Steve helps him. Terry tries to communicate with El. Joyce and Bob rescue Bob and scientists from the Hawkins Laboratory help them to leave the tunnels.
"Chapter Five: Dig Dug" is one of the best episodes of "Stranger Things".The story is well written and has many unforgettable moments. Will is totally connected to the shadow monster, sharing feelings with the Upside Down world. Bob is becoming an important character in the story and Dr. Sam Owes does not seem to be a bad guy. My vote is nine.

Major reveals and pieces in place!
The highlight of this episode is no doubt the truth about Elevens past, as we learn what happened to her mome and how she got trapped in that catatonic state and honestly.. it got really dark the more I thought about it!
In Hawkins we learn more about was is happening to Will as Bob the superhero solves the connection between his drawings and what they ACTUALLY show!

Most diverse episode so far
This episode had so much going on some could say it was overwhelming, it was still great because (most of) the plots were very intense and fun.
Will's story took centre stage yet again this episode and I support it as it was the most important this episode and the eeriest, Noah Schnapp is gifted and performs amazingly as Will Byers. Finn, Winona and Sean are what make this plot so amazing and intense, the best roster of the episode.
Hopper in the tunnels is the most intense plot of the episode, I can't say that there was a part where I was calm, every second had me on the edge of my seat, David Harbour said like a total of 3 words since he was alone but yet his body language and expressions made it all the more interesting.
Eleven's plot was just lore drop and yet was still top 3 plots of the episode. The acting and intensity of the story (not to mention emotion) makes it 10 times better.
Dustin's story this episode adds a warm comical to such a stressful episode, the beginning of an era without a doubt, and has amazing parallels and arc foreshadowing.
Nancy and Jonathan's story is this low because I saw this coming from a mile away, Murray being the tritagonist to this plot was fun and somewhat necessary but still had its relevant parts, but it was mainly to build on their arcs.
I can humbly say that Lucas had the weakest story of the episode, it was basically just him acting on his feelings but since it's the best romance of the show I will let it slide. Lumax is heavily developed here and I love it, but not Billy, there wasn't much character development here on either side but it was fun to watch their dynamics grow, which i love.
This episode was very eventful and the ending was very shocking (but hilarious at the same time), but since there is too much going on here (having many weak spots) it's not perfect, but yet, in classic Stranger Things fashion, it still pulls it off
I give the episode an 8/10.

- TriviaMany of the geographical locations around Hawkins mentioned by Bob Newby (Sean Astin) such as Jordan Lake and the Eno River are named after real locations in North Carolina, located near Durham where the show's creators, the Duffer Brothers (Matt Duffer and Ross Duffer), grew up as children.
- GoofsIt seems odd that an organisation which goes to the trouble of tapping into phone calls and bringing people in to stop them talking, doesn't search through their bag and find the recording device that Nancy had hidden.
