Unfortunately Game Of Thrones is no longer a perfect series, its last seasons have proven that scenes of action, blood and fire are not enough for a season to consolidate good. GOT season eight episode 5 fails to turn such a beloved character into a crazy one, I feel like Daenerys wouldn't do that, but it's the crazy writers' fault that she did. Cersei had her end in a shocking way, everything in this episode is bad, Arya becomes an idiot, Jon Snow is the most hateful character of all time. But the end of Sandor and the clash between him and his brother are the only things saved from this ridiculous episode.
It's the worst end possible to such an iconic series! Very very disappointed!
Great acting, great production, and mind blowing CGI cannot make up for poor writing.
"It's easy to do things that are shocking or unexpected, but they have to grow out of characters. They have to grow out of situations. Otherwise, it's just being shocking for being shocking." -GRRM

Why do a sloppy job with ultra fast forward of all plot timelines to move to a hurried conclusion. All this time spent(in years) cooking the perfect recipe for a potentially satisfying ending and now left with hardly any time to savor it. They should have paced it out to allow fans to mourn a minute or two for the characters they've been invested in for years. Could have been greater than it turned out to be- but folks will be asking why cut corners for the most successful show in recent years? If budget was a problem even crowdfunding would have been successful(not that HBO needs it)- such is the stature of the show.
Visuals were great.
But GOT is not only about good visuals.
Got was always based on a strong story with a lot of things that actually made sense.
I can only think about the dissapointment of the actors on which how the show has been progressing in season 8.
To be honest, i feel attacked by the way D&D thought to complete these series.
You can clearly see Martin missing from here.
Nothing makes sense about this show anymore.
I feel so angry with waiting all these years for this and it happening without any sense of logic.
The ones that are so happy with the show and such, they haven't been waiting for years and aparently think the show is based on visuals, rather than politics, plots and character development.
NO ONE EXPECTED A HAPPY ENDING, WE JUST EXPECTED A LOGIC ENDING.
Dissapointing to the core.

- TriviaThe big fight between Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) and Euron (Pilou Asbæk) was the last scene that Coster-Waldau shot for the entire series, an emotional moment he was happy to share with Asbæk; despite playing adversaries on the show, both men have been friends for years, and worked on several projects (as both come from Denmark).
- GoofsSoldiers are ordered to shoot with the Scorpions by the command "Fire!" It does not make sense to use the word in a fictional world, where combustion weapons are not invented. The command for bow-type weapons would be "Loose!"
