Interesting storyline detailing the downfall of tuberculin, good acting and character development.

Goofs
When Ida goes to the Tischendorfs' fraternity club to meet Georg's father, Georg orders her a Fassbrause, a fruit soda that is lightly alcoholic or non-alcoholic depending on the brand. The show is set in the 1880s, however, and Fassbrause was not invented until 1908.
