Infantile

Baby Pierrot finds his parents napping. He steals their savings and runs away to be with his lady love. She, in the manner of all lovers of Pierrot, is untrue.

It was a dark and blotchy print I looked at, and the wild gesticulations made it seem very primitive; in fact, it was probably an accurate reproduction of the stage show, albeit only six minutes in length. Given that it was produced by La Société Phono-Cinéma-Théâtre, it was undoubtedly a one of their early series of sound films, but alas, as seems invariably the case, the sound elements are missing. These factors reduce its attractiveness even further.
