Nice movie from Sivakarthikeyan and keerthy ...Love and Romance at high peak.

I recently watched Remo (2016), and it was a refreshing romantic entertainer that stood out for its unusual concept and colorful presentation. Directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan, the movie blends comedy, romance, and drama in a lighthearted way, though with a few clichés along the journey.

The story follows SK (Sivakarthikeyan), an aspiring actor who falls for a beautiful doctor, Kavya (Keerthy Suresh). However, to win her attention, he disguises himself as a female nurse - "Remo." This gender-bending role becomes the highlight of the film, as Sivakarthikeyan's transformation is both convincing and entertaining. His comic timing and charm hold the film together, making it easy to connect with his character despite the exaggerated premise.

Keerthy Suresh delivers a graceful performance, looking elegant and natural throughout. Her chemistry with Sivakarthikeyan is lively and adds warmth to the story. The supporting cast, including Sathish and others, provide humor at the right moments, preventing the film from feeling too stretched.

On the technical side, the film is a visual treat. The cinematography is vibrant, filled with bright colors that enhance the cheerful mood of the story. Anirudh Ravichander's music is another big plus - the songs are catchy, and the background score adds energy to both the romantic and comedy sequences.

Of course, the film has its flaws. The storyline is predictable, and some sequences feel overdramatic. The pace in the second half could have been tighter. Yet, the film compensates with its humor, engaging lead performances, and feel-good emotions.

Overall, Remo is a fun, colorful rom-com that entertains if you don't overthink the logic. It's perfect for those who enjoy lighthearted love stories with a humorous twist.

Remo, is great Rom-Com package with one of the best visually stunning cinematography. The story is all about a young man named Sivakarthikeyan(The actor's name itself), shortly SK, who admires 'Cinema' and tries to become and actor. The Cupid; heavenly creature which puts people to love each other, finds a pair for the hero and , SK falls in love with a girl he sees accross the road.

On the other side, a director needs a Man who can act as a Woman. Coincidentally SK meets the girl in his lady get-up, and finds out that he can get to know about her in this costume. The movie follows from here.

REVIEW Sivakarthikeyan really put all his effort to act as a woman, and since the Make up and the costume never looks odd and always makes the actor look good, the acting just makes it even more lovable! No such scene disappoint us to look at SK in that get-up.

The Cinematography is a feast for our eyes. Music is top notch The story is simply adorable.

THE NEGATIVES A few loopholes, and the film takes a whole half of it to make the plot clear to the Audience.

Remo (2016): We have seen notable films like Chachi 420,Madam etc.. where our lead hero disguises as a lady to solve his problems or love issues.Remo also comes under the same line where Shiva Karthikeyan played a role named Regina Motwani,shortened as Remo,a nurse to woo heroine and to get a chance in a movie.

Plot: Shivakarthikeyan plays SK an aspiring actor, who dreams of becoming a big star one day. He has his two drinking buddies played by Sathish and Rajendran, who also sit around and do nothing.Life is meaningless until Cupid strikes with one glance at the lovely Keerthy Suresh, who plays Kavya, a doctor in the film.Unfortunately for SK, the day he plans to profess his undying love for her turns out to be the day she gets engaged to a well-settled good looking doctor arranged by her parents.She has no clue to even his existence or his one-sided love for her. Though dejected SK decides to get on with his life. A movie audition requires him to dress like a woman and incidentally on this very day he gets to meet Kavya again. SK is dressed up as a female nurse and Kavya very generously offers him a job at the hospital she works in.Thus begins his charade as a pretty woman, who becomes Kavya's friend and confidante.The rest of the film is all about whether he can influence Kavya to fall in love with him.

Plus Points:

1)Music: Anirudh gave chart buster songs to Remo.Especially Senjithaley is my favorite number with awesome music.BGM is also good.

2)Performances: Sivakarthikeyan is a born entertainer understanding the pulse of commercial audience.He is brilliant in his comic timing and dances.His performance as Remo is decent.Surprisingly,Keerth Suresh has given decent performance.Others did their part well.

3)Comedy: Though the movie has silly comedy,its still gives us a smile.Few comedy scenes are hilarious.

Minus Points:

1)Silly Story and Screenplay: Remo has a silly plot with screenplay meanders endlessly to provide some laughs, plenty of sentiments, over-the-top action.Few scenes are illogical and outright silly.

So,Remo is a one time watch with few hilarious scenes and brilliant music but nothing new to offer.

REMO Starring SK (As they call him) Shown his full effort being a new avatar .Just don't expect too much of logics it will be so refreshing.Songs and BGMs are Fabulous .Cinematography is main thing for the success of this movie
