Wild Awakening

Beautiful and extremely erotic this film has me at the edge of my seat. I had to watch several times to comb through what I thought was happening. Wow wow wow. I rented this film but decided to purchase it because it's definitely one for the collection. The cast is scorching hot - specially the two main stars and they have a chemistry off the charts that you could bottle it up and sell. Absolutely recommend this film. It may be low budget and all, but it's a keeper. Congrats to the filmmaker and cast. I'm just discovering this gem now 2025. How did this film escape my radar? Now I did find the music a bit cheesy, I'm sure there are better more intense musical selections that would have been a better fit. With that said, the scene where the two guys are in the barn and just looks are being exchanged is most certainly one of the hottest scenes ever!! And the musical score there is spot on!! LOVED THIS FILM!!

Very Almodovar Spanish drama full of handsome actors and a very hot story. It's a low-budget movie but I really liked it. Good photography, handsome actors, good direction and magnificent scenery in the field with horses.

I kinda like the story tbh (except the ending). It's straightforward and not pretentious like most current gay films. Plus there are plenty of sexy guys on display. Even the police men are smoking hot.

What is it about South American films with a gay theme? Where do they get these incredibly sexy men from ? All of Toni's mates were hotter than hot. More than that, they looked as if they were enjoying the action too. But the horniest guy was the cop who was standing up during the interviews (not a spoiler; these are in the first scene).

The plot was a bit too contrived to be totally convincing. The love triangle between the siblings and Aaron running alongside the concomitant closet-case aspect was too convenient. The way this led to the disappearance was a bit too slick. I assume the cops sort out who's who and who's gone in the end. We are left to ponder what happens. But once the answer comes, it'll be too late for Toni's hopes of love.

Done on a presumably low budget, this film was good enough for a rainy afternoon. I enjoyed it.

Totally recommended if you want to have a good time!! I have seen it already four times ;))
